Guest nokia Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 I found this at deathvalleydriver.com and thought i'd share it with you guys "Sandman, who was slated to appear at WrestleReunion III today, could not make the attendance. When fans asked about his absences, a source reported that the claim was he was under contract to the WWE and could not appear. At present time, Sandman denies the signing. Rumors are flying that WWE is looking to procure as much ECW Talent as possible so they are on board for what ever ECW incarnation WWE decides to put out next. It's felt by many in the company if the talent is signed and deliverd ahead of time, there will be no need for hold outs and long negotiations when it comes to production of the show. All signs seem to be heading in that direction. Joey Styles is now under contract and he was one of the hardest ones to get on board. With the rumored signing of Sandman and an expressed interest in a certain ECW Tag Team, who will have a Smackdown tryout in July,it looks like ECW is long from Dead in the WWE's eyes. Boy hasnt he put on weight though. You know, if you look at this with the Sabu thread on here something is definitely up.
