For anyone who still gives a crap about Matt Hardy, I found this on the ROH website:

Ring Of Honor

July 16th, 2005, 7:30pm belltime

CT Sports Center

21 South Bradley Road, Woodbridge, CT 06525

Tickets on sale now at the ROH offices by calling 215-781-2500, right here at ROHwrestling.com or at Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster outlets.

Dream Match Main Event

Matt Hardy makes his ROH debut vs. the returning Christopher Daniels

Posted

Shouldnt this be in the Other Promotions folder? And, out of curiousity, isnt that CMP's last PPV. Wasnt Daniels the main hope for taking the belt off him?

Actually it is because it shows your blatant disrespect towards the company by calling it "PPV".

PPV=Pay Per View.

Which is totally different from any other name that can and should be properly billed for that night "Show" "Event" "Taping"...

"PPV" isnt one of those.

To respond to the question you posed...

7/8-in Long Island is the current "last show" for CM Punk to appear in ROH against a yet un-named challenger of Punk's choosing.

He isn't confirmed obviously to appear at the Woodbridge show.

Daniels isn't ROH's "hope". "The Booking office"-the kayfabe head in charge for ROH haven't even mentioned Daniels as their "hope" nor have they attached that to anyone.

Daniels made his ROH return in Morristown at the 6/18 "Death Before Dishonor III" SHOW. Daniels only merely challenged him for the title to which Punk ran off.

cm punk also confirmed Christopher Daniels would not be the challenger for the title on 7/8 due to his "long in-activity in ROH". (i.e his bullshit cop-out)

And this ''shows your blatant disrespect towards'' people. You understood me and that all that matters. Whats in a bloody name after all. Just because one types PPV instead of another word doesnt mean that the person "blatantly disrespects" the promotion. If you really want to know, I think that ROH is the future of preserving classical wrestling, thats why I can understand the current state of booking. If youve got a stick up your rear end, take it out on somebody else. Im just talking. I know what the letters PPV mean. And IMHO, when wrestler A calls wrestler B out, down the line, theres no avoiding the collision. By the confrontation itself, you are building up to something.

Getting back on topic, I think it would be absolutely fantastic if the ROH crowd booed this psychopath out of the building like they did his brother. And, knowing how they've responded to other "big names" in the past (Jeff and Konnan, anyway), there's a very good chance of that happening.

People on the internet like Matt a lot and he doesn't seem to be like his brother in terms of wrestling ability.

He'll get a big pop and he's working with a guy who he can definetely have a good match with.

Yeah man, not to be an asshole or anything. But you definately understand the guy and tried to make an arguement out of nothing.

Calling it a Pay-Per-View could be right if you really wanted to get technical. Your Paying to View the show, no matter how you look at it.

No its not a traditional PPV, and really it's just a show. But you understood him and there was really no need to start a fight out of nothing.

Just my $0.02, canadian.
