Awesome match. Flair really surprised me, especially with a very nice suplex. The Angle slam just seemed like a back suplex to me, which I suppose is why JR called it "modified".

And. . . wait for it. . . wait for it. . . Flair didn't immediately get to his feet, and walk off. He actually SOLD the finish. Wow, what a novel concept. That match was easily better than Angle/HBK last night, so I guess it's probably 5 1/2 stars or something.

That was probably Flair's best match since the WCW days. Probably just under **** territory.

Unlike that match last night, I wasn't calling the spots 20 seconds ahead of time with this match.

 

It was a fucking match. Last night was a series of exhibition spots weaved into a story of nothing but Shawn's traditional lack of sell.
