That season thing sounds great. I'm still thinking about who I should choose to do season first. I'm going to choose between JBL (for the specific storylines and JBL is cool on-air), Chris Masters or Shelton Benjamin. Maybe one of the Mexicools if they put them in.

 

They might as well make the entire roster because it isn't that big anymore. Just GOD NO don't make the Boogeyman. Don't put him in front of someone like Rob Conway

It may be too late to put them in now, unless THQ plans on pushing the release date back somewhat on SVR 2006.

 

On a somewhat-related note, does anyone think that Paul London will FINALLY be in a WWE Smackdown video game for once if the Cruiserweight title is re-added to SVR 2006? I read that he's going to be in DOR 2, but I don't own a Gamecube.

I have to admit I'm getting a little jones, and have been satisfying it by playing SvR... I think if there is one saving grace about the game, its that you can use the XP you earn in story mode to build another wrestler's stats. I hope they carry that over, as it makes raising up CAWs infinitely easier. That makes going through the same limited story mode a little less painful.

I was playing Shut Your Mouth today... THQ really should go back to making the ending / credits like they did in that game. Real American / Beautiful People playing while you watch tech demos and various hilarity still rocks almost 3 years later.

as long as they have the HTM theme in and he carries a guitar and can use it as a weapon. and Duggan should have the 2x4 as a weapon too.

Here's a list of legends I'd love to see. The rest wouldn't really matter to me. I would actually choose a complete current roster over any legends at all, though. About half of the list is possible, but some not so likely.

Others that I wouldn't mind seeing are maybe Terry Funk, Steamboat, Mick Foley (with all three costumes... not likely), and maybe Neidhart just to be able to use the Hart Foundation.

well since they are doing a dvd on him, The Warrior is a strong possiblity.

 

Austin and Jake and Rock will likely make it in as well.

 

Cowboy Bob Orton is a good guess since he made the HOF this year, as is Paul Orndorff.

One thing I really hope they fix in this game is when you do a pinning move(German, Tiger, Or Dragon plex) and let go of it, the guy taking the move gets up BEFORE you. I always found that very annoying.

 

 

Naming all the moves correctly wouldn't hurt either.

Also, is DiBiase not an agent with WWE now? If he still is, then it's pretty much a given that he'll be in. LOD will also probably in there - same reason Animal is on TV - to hype the DVD set. ;P

I've been playing HCTP lately, and compared to SVR, somethings will hopefully be changed. Like someone said earlier, Last Man Standing matches in HCTP can go on forever, especially when you vs. someone like Goldberg or Lesnar. Meanwhile in SVR, it often only takes one finisher, and the ref's count is twice as fast. Also, just like the complaint above, whenever Goldberg hits the Jackhammer on me, since it's a pinning move, I never stay down for the count. That's annoying. But anyway, I'm honestly having a blast playing Last Man Standing in HCTP on SD difficulty, so I really hope they change it back to HCTP style in the upcoming game.

 

Also, the Elimination Chamber still needs to be tweaked. The AI sucks, always jumping off the top of the chambers and killing himself. My biggest gripe is that everything outside the chamber does too much damage. You can get an opponent down to orange in seconds by throwing them into the glass or chains, not to mention that just tossing them over the top rope and to the outside floor does the same max damage as being thrown off the top of HIAC. I think they should make it a bit harder to break through the glass, too. At least make it take maybe two hits like the top of the HIAC.

I'm hoping for DiBiase to be in this game. It'd be great if they'd put in an old school Billy Graham too. I think the legends that appear in the game are all tied into the contracts that Jakks who is partnered with THQ have set up. So the possibilities could include the following

Sure there is. The voiceovers dont have to be brand specific. thus the storylines will be the same if you choose to be on raw or sd. just like in sd vs raw, they ahd the same storylines whether you were on either show.
