Henry Spencer 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2005 I would defend the merits of Weezer's first album, which I think is fantastic, along with the faithful, but now that the amount of crap Weezer has released officially outnumbers the good, I am less apt to rush to their defense. Guest Samantha Report post Posted July 16, 2005 Absolutely Buddy Holly, died too young. Jeff Buckley's 'Grace' was an amazing album but I don't know if he could have improved on it. Notable exceptions are guys like Morrissey, Jim Morrison or Michael Stipe. The Beach Boys hardly ever had interesting lyrics, it doesnt mean that they weren't one of the best bands ever.
