Who will Vince have his kids "take care of" ?

Recommended Posts

I saw this post on another board and thought it was pretty interesting. Over the years Vince has "taken care" of certain guys his dad told him to watch over when he died. So when Vince dies who do you think he will have Shane and Stephanie do the same for?

My guesses would be.. The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Ric Flair(because of HHH)..others that I'll have to think of later.

why Kevin Nash?

certain people were *taken care of* because they were a good part of the family or pretty important that arent able to make due on their own.

obviously Hogan and Austin wont need to be taken care of. Nor will HHH(Considering he's doing the taking care part).

I believe Ernie Ladd is a part of the already established roster of being taken care of which includes Young, Moolah, Saakland and some others.

Shawn is a no-brainer due to his loyalty and years and closeness to family along with Finkel, Flair, Taker...I would have said Hebner but not anymore. Perhaps Jim Ross as well.

Madison Square Garden. Granted, it's not a who, but it's one of the things Vince's father told him to look out for.

before any one gets confused, it means to make sure the garden is still the mecca of the wrestling business and they never lose their standing there.

not to actually take care of the place.

Aww..come on..the image of Steph having to scrub out the toilets at MSG made me laugh.

Aww, when Vince dies, won't Hogan be dead too?

Seeing how they got their juice from the same guy and all.

"Stephanie McMahon: Head of WWE Creative/Janitor, Madison Square Garden"

Considering where the product is this is quite possibly an accurate description.

Secondly, one of the things that's probably in Vince's will is that the second the last bit of ink on Bruno's death certificate has been applied he's going into the HOF.

Bob Orton

Jimmy Snuka

Bradshaw

Kevin Nash

William Regal

Bradshaw appears to be doing quite well financially on his own. Nash and Regal will more likely be helped because they're friends with HHH. Orton and Snuka I could see.

I think people are looking at the wrong guys on this question. People like Taker who make $1 million a year will never need to be "taken care of." I think guys like Jim Ross, Bob Holly, William Regal, Val Venis, and Brooklyn Brawler would be more in line for this type of treatment.

The way I figure, Hebner must have done something really serious to get fired instead of fined or simply suspended.

Guys like Undertaker and Hogan have enough to take care of themselves. The guys that Vince Sr told Jr to care for were guys who were either legendary and/or integral to the operation of the company, like Gorilla Monsoon. I could see JR filling in with that position. Fink seems pretty likely. Patterson too, just because Vince and Patterson have stood by each other when it's rained or poured (steroid trials, sexual harassment suits, etc.) Maybe one of the wrestlers turned writer/agent like Brother Love or Brawler, but not more than one.

I would say that our Vince's list would be much shorter because he runs a much tighter ship and is very likely less loyal to his employees than his father was.
