As for me, I'm voting for Bob Barr on election day. I've just come to the conclusion that both Comrade Obama and Comrade McCain are going to both take us down the path to socialism in this country. We're already seeing it now with the government buying into the banking systems and failing businesses. It's bad enough my money is going to executives getting a bonus or a happy ending at the spa. Let the overextended business fail, it's part of the capitalist system. Plus, I am fine with paying my fair share of taxes but giving money that I've earned to people that don't pay taxes to spread the wealth doesn't sit well with me. That system has failed in many western European nations and won't work here.

WASHINGTON – Federal agents have broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree, the ATF said Monday.

 

In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.

 

Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of the Nashville field office for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said the two men planned to shoot 88 black people and decapitate another 14. The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.

What part is not to like? Issues like gay marriage and abortion should not be decided at a federal level. Those are states issues. Frank's record shows that he is in favor of pushing money toward the lower class, rather than pushing jobs at the lower class.

Issues like gay marriage and abortion should not be decided at a federal level. Those are states issues.

 

I agree on Abortion, but not on Gay Marriage. Abortion applies to all women equally; it's not like we are talking about Black Women versus White Women. But Gay Marriage is denying someone something simply on the basis of sexuality. It goes against the "Due Process" clauses in the 5th and 14th Amendment. If marriage were a strictly religious entity that provided no benefits other than title, you might have a case. But health plans, tax plans, and dozens of other things are affected by this. You can't legally deny someone something without due process of law.
