Seeing how both guys won their respective titles on the same night, its been almost been about 4 months. Who do you think will drop first (you can also predict when) in this little race going on? :)

Altho there are more guys on RAW thn SD who would be sucsessful Champs, definatly Batista. He is worse on the mic, less over, worse charicter and generally worse than John Cena.

I just hope its not the over-exposed JBL to take it from him.

False. I think Batista's more over. Cena's been losing overness for a while now, according to reports (as I've not watched Raw in a while now).

Cena. Why? Because he has to deal with HHH on his show, where as Batista managed to escape. Fresh off being crushed by Batista there is no way that HHH will get by the Cena feud without winning the title.

Place? I'll say Unforgiven.

Reports are done by either deaf people or biased smarks. I watch both shows, Cena is more over.

I think you can pretty much flip a coin as to who is "more over." When i was at Raw on Monday, the crowd went nuts for both guys. It seemed like there were a small few people who didn't like Cena, but Batista was pretty much well-received across the board.

As for who drops first, Cena's done fine with the belt, but if you think his reign isn't coming to an end when Triple H decides to show up and take the WWE title, you're crazy. On a related note, the only bright side about Triple H winning is that I want to see how much he celebrates his 11th world title when he gets handed that ridiculously over-the-top spinner belt.

By the way, the title of this should be "Who's dropping...", not "Whose..."

I picked Cena simply because Batista losing will hurt him more. Batista needs that dominant type title run and I'm assuming the long term goal here is to build to Batista/Brock at WM. This is goofy if Batista goes around jobbing the title and all that.

Cena if anything needed a longer chase considering he hadn't really been a world title contender for very long and simply won the belt. His WM win over JBL was like "That's it?" Besides, we all know he is going to job out to HHH at some point, which is ok provided HHH doesn't just bury him and that he get the belt back in a blowoff.

One way to avoid this is to have Cena lose in a bizarro fluke to Jericho, then we all know Jericho will lay down for HHH. If done right Cena won't lose much face, Jericho can get a short title run out of it, and it can still build to the HHH/Cena feud.

I think there a lot of people who are indiffrenet to Batista, actually.

As for HHH, I say he comes back as a face. I think he thinks he can out pop Cena.

I voted for Cena primarily because he's on Raw with Triple H. It's only a matter of time before Triple H gets off the couch, puts away the potato chips, and decides it's time he was a world champion again.

Cena's going to have it tougher, and I think they should go after a big Batista/Lesnar match.

Cena's dropping the belt first, simply based on the fact that they are going to build towards a Batista/Lesnar main at Wrestlemania.

Batista's in Vince's doghouse for the GAB match, according to rumors. Plus they barely feature the guy, and there just aren't good heels on SD for him to feud with. I'll say Batista.

Cena is much more over. More over at WrestleMania (although the absolutely shitty match with the out of nowhere finish that people thought was a botch kind of killed his heat) and more over at Vengeance, from my experience at both shows.

However, I see Batista as a more long-term champ because he's a big guy who busts shit up, and that's what Vince likes. I can see him turning even before dropping the belt because if there's anything he likes more than a big champ, it's a big heel champ.

I said Cena, just because Raw has their brand-exclusive PPV before Smackdown does. After Summerslam, they really need to get the belts off of both men and shake things up a little bit.

I think that HBK and Orton would be perfect to lead their respective brands, at least temporarily.

Realistically, I can't see Cena dropping the title any time soon, if the 'spinner' belt is as popular among marks with disposable income as WWE would like to believe. I can only really see Batista as a short term (as in, peaking within two years) champion due to his age, and that they'll consider him more expendable for a title loss soon.

Also, I'd say Cena is far more over than Batista, since Batista lost a large chunk of his appeal when he traded in his smart-mouthed early 2005 character (the one which got him over) for the more generic hoss character of which he currently plays. Cena at least seems to connect with the crowd a lot easier.

I'd say Cena will lose his title first, just due to how many other options there are on Raw compared to Smackdown. The three biggest heels on SD are JBL, Eddie and Christian, none of whom I see taking the belt off Batista for the time being, due to current feuds or recent win/loss records. Turning Batista heel to fight Benoit or UT would be too soon after his faceturn and could hinder a match vs Lesnar at Mania.

On Raw, Cena has Edge, Jericho, Angle, a heel-turned HBK and the returning HHH, all of whom (bar maybe Jericho) are legitimate title contenders who could take the title from Cena after SummerSlam

Why would Batista be in the doghouse and JBL NOT be in it as well? JBL being the veteran in that match is the guy expected to carry it and the guy sucks too much to do so. Give any JBL match 20 mins and no stips and it is going to suck, I don't care who it is against.

There really isn't anyone on SMDN I'd rush to put the title on at the moment, so Batista should be safe.

Unless they make Cena lose the title only to win it back after a heated one-month feud just to make him a two-time champ and increase his prestige, I'm pretty sure he'll be hanging onto his title while Batista is shoved back down to the mid-card.

I can see Batista hanging on to it up to Survivor Series and going through JBL, Orton and maybe Guerrero. As for who takes it. I dunno

Cena could be losing it at Summerslam, but that's only wishful thinking. I see him losing it earlier than Dave.

If you go by Austin chronology, then he'll lose it at Unforgiven (through the cheapest means possible) and not touch it again until Wrestlemania against (tada!) Shelton.

Can't wait for the Cena-HHH feud. More talks of cena being a "thug" and "not deserving to be a champion" However If Trips does call Cena a poser I will immediately like him again.
