OK...watching Heat right now, and they made a mention of a guy with no video named Johnny Parisi (with a somewhat swinger gimmick and a DDT finisher called "The Shaft" I think) and it got me thinking:

How many people have been debuting on Velocity or Heat recently, and how many will actually be brought up to the main roster?

I know Super Crazy, Psicosis and Juvi got their chance earlier this year...

There's still a chance for Doring, Roadkill, and Kid Kash (maybe to all three)

Plus, besides Parisi, there's Frankie "The Future" Kazarian debuting on Velocity.

So...any chance of any of these guys being brought to the main shows in the future possibly perhaps?

I mean, Orlando Jordon started on Velocity, and look where he is now (despite his skill level)

Well it's pretty obvious they're giving Kazarian somewhat of a push, and in a matter of months, I have no doubt that we'll be seeing him on a ppv fighting for the CW title.

Whether that means on WM in a CW open or not >_>

As long as he doesn't trip on the way to the ring like Ultimo did, everything will be fine.

...speaking of which, weren't there reports of Ultimo coming back late last year? What happened with that?

I think I remember reading about Ultimo being frustrated with the way WWE used him that he just decided to go back to Japan.

It's sad that Ultimo's dream of competing at Wrestlemania is going to be remembered by him tripping at the entrance.

No, he wouldn't have killed off his Ultimo Dragon persona in Japan if he wasn't under the impression that he'd get to go back to WWE if he did it. WWE was like "we're going to bring you back, except without your mask." So Ultimo did a final show as Ultimo Dragon in Japan and then expected to come back to WWE soon after, and it never happened. So Ultimo wrestles as Ultimo outside of Japan and as The Tiger (a Tiger Mask knock-off, more or less) in Japan.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the update.

Johnny Parisi = Johnny Swinger, btw.

Johnny Sinjer? Johnny Swangler? Has anyone ever heard of this guy? I sure haven't.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

And you win this thread. :)

Come on people. How could you not know that was Johnny Swinger, especially when they pointed out that he was, in fact, a swinger? I've always been a huge fan of the guy.

I was only half paying attention to Heat...and hadn't seen him fully since his ECW days. When he was in TNA, when it was still on PPV, I watched via squigglevision.

Ah.

What's the relation?  Grandson, son, nephew...?

In the Beginning:

# Joseph Dorgan grew up in Niagara Falls and graduated in 1993 from Niagara Falls High, where he was voted Most Shy..

# Joseph Dorgan is related to former 70s star Tony Parisi..

Didnt Simon Dean start off on Heat?

I think their doing that (with Kazarian atleast) to get him some tv time and then they'll bring him to SD as opposed to like Kenzo who showed up on SD and sucked hard, their giving people a chance to get into the gimmick.

And I think Doring & Roadkill were just used as "indy guys they wanted to give a shot to," though I'd love to see them get a wwe deal.

Actualy simons first match was on RAW vs The Hurricane in December 04, he started off as having his "commericals" air on raw.

And if they are talking about Johhny being a swinger, why not just let him have that name?

btw I ddi see both velocity and heat this week.

Poor Rob Conway got a terrible new theme song thats sounds like it came from the list of Billy Gunns rejected theme ideas.
