Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 They've built up Daniels for him to finally lose when he drops the X-Division belt to someone. They shouldn't ruin that by having him lose a non-title match to Aries, even if Aries is sticking around. And they just gave away the finish to the main event. Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 14, 2005 They gave the main event away but I didnt care anyways... But 5 minutes to showtime and I still cant figure out if this was a good move to buy this show...
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 I'm going to play it safe, and wait for the replay. If I hear good things, I'll buy the PPV. If not, then at least I've got money in the bank for UFC 54.

Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 And they just gave away the finish to the main event. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How so? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If Jarrett pins Raven, he gets the next shot at the NWA title. The last time TNA started on television, Jarrett got the belt back so he could be the champion when TNA debuted on FSN. With the next PPV being before TNA debut on Spike, I'm calling repeat, and Jarrett beating Raven tonight, getting the belt next month, and TNA debuting on Spike with Jarrett on top. I could be being an optimist, but I think it'll be more interesting for Rhino to pin Raven and get the title shot, pissing Jarrett off. He claims he should get the shot, and gets a number 1 contender's match next month (against who I dunno, maybe Hardy?) and Raven goes over Rhino so they get to BFG with Jarrett/Raven. We'll see though. I wish I had PPV access to see this one though, because TNA won't put the DVD out til Christmas at least. Sounds like a good show so far. Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 I am really dreading having to watch this upcoming match. 3LK vs James/Brown

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Jerry Lynn over Sean Waltman in an excellent match. MOTN so far. Waltman sneak attacks him after the match during the embrace.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Okay, This show was a waste of money. Unless Joe/AJ is really off the hook.

Michrome 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 I'm a little worried that they won't get enough time, but I'm pulling for TNA to prove me wrong and give them 17-19.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 This will be a pretty short match considering it's 10:31 and they are just doing the video package right now.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 In an average brawl with Jarrett and Raven bleeding and interference from Abyss and Jeff Hardy... Rhyno covers Raven after a Gore through a table for tyhe win.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 All in All, The show was a complete let down with two great matches and a bunch of nothing. Once again as always with TNA, there's no EMOTION in any of the matches.
TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 I just want to point that I called the finish of the main and I think TNA made a good decision. Rhino/Raven will be a compelling match-up next month and they've saved Jarrett/Raven II. I think we'll see Jarrett/Hardy with Jarrett blaming Hardy for costing him the title and Hardy wanting to avenge the fan.

TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 TNA's already announced Raven/Rhino as next month's ME. HUGE NEWS AFTER SACRIFICE – ZBYSZKO NAMES RHINO NEW #1 CONTENDER TO THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Raven vs. Rhino World Title Match Announced For “Unbreakable” Orlando, FL (August 14, 2005) – Just minutes after Sunday’s “Sacrifice” Pay-Per-View went off the air, NWA Championship Committee member Larry Zbyszko held a closed door meeting with TNA officials regarding the outcome of Sunday’s main event and the World Title picture. On the “Sacrifice” preshow, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Raven and nemesis Jeff Jarrett agreed to the following stipulations for the main event: If Jarrett beat Raven, he would get the World Title match at “Unbreakable”. If Raven beat Jarrett, the former champion would be out of the World Title picture for a year. However, much to Jeff Jarrett’s shock, Rhino ended up defeating Raven in the main event! After emerging from the meeting, Zbyszko officially announced Rhino as the new number-one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Zbyszko also officially announced Raven vs. Rhino as the main event for the NWA World Heavyweight Title at “Unbreakable” on Sunday, September 11. Raven, Rhino and a reportedly irate Jeff Jarrett were unavailable for comment following the event, but TNAwrestling.com hopes to post their reaction to the decision by tomorrow night. Tune in to Impact this Friday on TNAwrestling.com for more information! credit: TNAWrestling.com
Fro 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Very positive reviews from everywhere else. Lot of people calling it the best TNA PPV ever and even the TNA Haters who ordered it for Joe/Styles and Daniels/Aries liked half the matches.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted August 15, 2005 I didn't say it was a bad show. Just a let down. I have high expectations. I throughly enjoyed the Joe/Styles and Waltman/Lynn match and thought the Daniels/Aries match was a good showing. I missed the 8 man tag match due to a phone call. I didn't think the rest of the card rocked my world but it was better then most WWE's offering. I still felt let down for some reason. The work was great but i didn't feel a emotional attachment to the matches, something of which is important to me.
