saw 2

Recommended Posts

I'm left wondering "why" after seeing the ending to the first one.

Okay, the old guy with the inoperable, terminal cancerous tumor in his brain was the killer, I get it. So what's his motive here, or is it a copycat killer?

The first movie was awful. Everything from the acting to the editing to the directing was bad, and even though the twist was ok, it didn't matter by that point.

^^^What did you expect? The guy had only done like two films beforehand, and it's not like he had a 100 million dollar budget to play with.

Am I the only one that figured out the 'mystery' of the first one as soon as they gave the first heavy-handed 'clue'? My friends that had already seen it and thought it was great hated me as soon as I explained the whole plot twist.

I could've, but I wouldn't let myself. It's one of those movies, like Session 9, where I let the actual movie take me where it wants to go. I have more fun watching it that way. ;)

It was pretty bad... I liked the concept, and the concept alone made me enjoy watching it. I don't ever want to see it again, though. Reminds me of Strangeland in that way.
