Corey_Lazarus Posted August 13, 2005 Report Posted August 13, 2005 I'm left wondering "why" after seeing the ending to the first one. Okay, the old guy with the inoperable, terminal cancerous tumor in his brain was the killer, I get it. So what's his motive here, or is it a copycat killer?
gWIL Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 Damn, that was fast. Halloween. I'll see it.
Youth N Asia Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 Definatly, bad acting aside I really liked the first one. I'm there.
devo Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 Definatly, bad acting aside I really liked the first one. I'm there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. Danny Glover alone came close to sinking the first one.
Vampiro69 Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 The movie was good but man, did Cary Elwes let himself go or what?
Angle-plex Posted August 14, 2005 Report Posted August 14, 2005 The first movie was awful. Everything from the acting to the editing to the directing was bad, and even though the twist was ok, it didn't matter by that point.
dubq Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 ^^^What did you expect? The guy had only done like two films beforehand, and it's not like he had a 100 million dollar budget to play with.
Boner Kawanger Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 Am I the only one that figured out the 'mystery' of the first one as soon as they gave the first heavy-handed 'clue'? My friends that had already seen it and thought it was great hated me as soon as I explained the whole plot twist.
dubq Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 I could've, but I wouldn't let myself. It's one of those movies, like Session 9, where I let the actual movie take me where it wants to go. I have more fun watching it that way.
Nighthawk Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 It was pretty bad... I liked the concept, and the concept alone made me enjoy watching it. I don't ever want to see it again, though. Reminds me of Strangeland in that way.
