I can't help but wonder how they'll get around the touchy subject of what actually happened in that alley during the "Angel" conclusion. I suspect we'll just pick up with Spike several years later, and have him allude to them making it out. I suppose they could also just show what happened, but then they'd need to get the other cast members back for the scene, at which point they risk turning it into an "Angel" reunion movie. Part of me also does not WANT to know what happened to the other characters, since chances are that some died.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a movie just on Spike's backstory, but that would mean signing David Boreanaz and the others as well.

Hopefully they come up with a better name than "Spike: The Movie" or "Spike the Vampire" though.

Marsters is also going to be on the new season Smallville.

Marsters is scheduled to be in two episodes of Smallville, I think.

I don't know...Spike seemed pretty whipped during that period from the "Fool for Love" flashback. I think they could do something cool with Spike from post-Season 5, trying to get back Buffy in the aftermath of "The Gift". With Xander or someone by his side. Or maybe of his return in Season 6, with him dealing with his soul and how he would return to Sunnydale.

Since he's playing such a major character, he'll make more than just two appearances.

Spike was great when he wasn't pussy whipped by Buffy. I just don't see the need for a movie featuring him, or anything following up on Angel, for that matter. Unless it happens to be brilliant, and I don't see how anything can top the finale.

He's scheduled to be in a few episodes starting with the season premiere episode.

He was the one of the best actors in the series (the best three were Alexis, Amy and Marsters)so I don't mind seeing him work whenever I get a chance.

I have given up on ever seening Alexis and Amy again.

Wow. Frank Shamrock is from Sunnydale, CA. Where's that Buffy thread.

I'm still obsessed, watch the show like every day. I'm about to finish the whole series all the way through, just watched Dirty Girls last night. So, I'd go for like anything new. I just don't have any hope that it's actually going to happen. We've been hearing about this for two years now. Instead I'm more hyped for stuff that's actually coming out, like Emma's movie.

Hey everyone,

If you still haven't gotten all of the seasons of Buffy on DVD yet, WAIT.

November 15th, Fox is releasing a 40 DISK COLLECTORS SET of ALL 7 SEASONS of Buffy- 39 disks with the show, and a bonus disk with a new documentary on it. Each box will feature a note signed by Joss Wheedon, a collector4s book, and each box will be individually numbered. Look for it to be pirced around $150-$180 upon release.

Man, thats fucked up. I mean if you bought every set new you were looking at what....240 dollars maybe? i should sell all my sets and just get this one. I think Movie trader is giving 20 for each set which would get me around 80 bucks and since I would have had to spend 60+ on seasons 6-7, I would pretty much break even.

HA.

I saw this title and just thought it was a vampire movie on Spike TV.

But like YNA said, I'm not going to get my hopes up. Besides, I can't see this movie getting great ratings or anything.

If this movie does happen, there is one thing that I really want to see: Spike ramming a railroad spike into the head of a human. That is why he's called "Spike." I'd imagine that it could actually be shown on film.
