pochorenella 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Interesting note – I bought an official souvenir program, which has not been updated with the draft changes. That was how long ago? They must have had older ones they were trying to get rid of. I bought a souvenir program at SummerSlam and they had both rosters right, except they still had Hassan and Daivari and there was no Animal on SD! Smackdown womens title? But uh...Smackdown doesn't have any women wrestlers. Can Melina work? I know for a fact Stacy, Christy Hemme, and any of the other bimbos on the show. I think that Jillian chick can work, but they need to get tat fucking thing off her face first. I think the first spoilers must've been somewhat mistaken on that regard. Look at the matches listed for Velocity, they're different than the other reports, and the latter two don't even mention this new Women's Title crap. Arguably the only decent women wrestlers are on RAW and Trish is scheduled to come back any day now. I don't think WWE is stupid eniugh to create this new title when the other is so wasted right now. Dark Age 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Damn right. It would be awesome. I'd have JBL lariat Batista in to the crowd. IN TO THE DAMN CROWD! They would fall over chairs and shit, and throw chairs at each other. There would be lots of punching and clubbing blows. Seriously, it would be better than anything this year. Batista would win. I would be a good agent.

Vyce 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 I so hope that they FINALLY let Eddie get his numerous jobs back by letting him absolutely destroy Rey in the cage, but I have my doubts. Also.....the Benoit / Jordan thing is beginning to make me think. What's the goal here? To just bury Jordan? Or is this going to end with Jordan making some sort of fluke comeback to win against the established superstar?
Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Fluke win over Benoit after Benoit destroys him like 12 times and becomming arrogant, probably leading Benoit to a heel turn and Jordan to a face turn.

humongous2002 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Sheesh!! Eddie is the biggest jobber in the world since he can't even beat that masked midget at least once this year and Randy only needed one match to destroy Rey Rey. One more thing about the SD report, I highly doubt that the fans were upset that JBL wasn't on the show unless hell has already frozen over.
k thx 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 I call Jordan turning face on JBL, leading to a feud between them after JBL beats Benoit for the US title.
haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Sliced bread # 5 ? Is that "toned down" too ? I though it was called Sliced bread # 2 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Knowing how WWE does things, Kendrick probably grabs the opponents head and simply pushes backwards from the turnbuckles. Totally eliminating the backflip. on another note.... Dammit, I was getting excited thinking I would see Stevie Richards pick up a win over Hardcore Holly. Whats the point of people posting fake spoilers?

Eddie is the biggest jobber in the world since he can't even beat that masked midget at least once this year and Randy only needed one match to destroy Rey Rey. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't quite follow that logic. Eddie beat Rey last year on SD! (back when Eddie was WWE Champ) in probably the best match they've had in the past two years, but it seems nobody remembers that, and of course, WWE won't remind you since for storyline's sake Eddie just can't beat Rey. I doesn't mean Eddie is less than anyone that comes along and beats Rey. Hell, Rey was beat last year by Chavo. Does that mean Chavo is better than Eddie? No fucking way. I know you mean just this year, but those are circumstances of the storyline, which is hated by everybody here but it's proven to be the most attention-grabbing ratings-wise. Anyway, I think Eddie finally beats Rey in the cage next week and moves on to Batista (if current House show programs stand.) Wether he beats Batista or not is another matter. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Anything involving Jordan getting another win over Benoit is a no no in my book. Absolutely not. I'm thinking a Jordan face turn is likely in the works however. Having Benoit squash him in 20 seconds numerous times kills any possible heat Jordan could muster, and then having Jordan pull off a fluke win over Benoit only serves to kill Benoit's heat. Here's an idea: PUSH SOMEONE ELSE IN THE US DIVISION! You do realize that if Eddie kills Rey in that cage match it would basically destroy Rey's heat and undo whatever was accomplished by having Eddie job to him a million times. Thing is, it has to be done.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 I don't think it'll destroy Rey's heat. But I agree it has to be done, since Eddie is supposed to be challenging Batista next and he needs at least ONE win, and a strong one at that.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 There's no meaning in this silly company. How can Eddie get a title shot when he's just been beaten by the same guy EIGHT FUCKING TIMES?! I don't care if he beats Rey next week or not, he shouldn't get a title shot. Stupid writers.
humongous2002 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Personally I would've liked for Eddie and Rey to have a competitive feud (meaning that they both were put over equally) instead of Eddie jobbing to Rey time after time in 2005, it doesn't make any sense to me that Rey gets to beat a former WWE champ 7 or 8 times just so he could get pinned cleanly by a transitional "World champion" in Orton. Guest Zarock Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Sounds like a good card. I'm looking forward to Benoit trashing Jordan on television again, as well as Mr. Kennedy/Booker-T with Christian commentating. I expect good stuff from Orton and Mysterio, although if he wins clean that technically means that Mysterio is one rung below Hardcore Holly, which is just wrong. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 I wonder if Kennedy's line will still make it on the air. They could edit it out. Surprising they would acknowledge Jarrett or TNA at all. They haven't even started up yet, and they still aren't out of the ballpark of even being considered anything that can remotely be called competition. Even if it's just to insult, why acknowledge them? Just petty if you ask me. I remember it took Vince and Co. awhile to even acknowledge there was a WCW out there. Even if it's just to insult, why acknowledge them? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it was just a jab at Jarrett, the wrestler. Yeah, they left on good terms, but they've been acknowledging for years now that he did the job to Chyna in his final match with countless "special moments in WWE history" since then. It's a jab since the guy has been a centerpiece of both WCW and TNA since his departure, which in the writers' eyes makes them look like a secondary promotion. Just petty if you ask me. I remember it took Vince and Co. awhile to even acknowledge there was a WCW out there. 1995, which is in the same ballpark as Turner mentioning Titan for the first time.
