Shit-storm coming for Kanye?

Recommended Posts

snuffbox, I recognize (well, presume) that you were implying that I had metaphorically buried myself during this conversation. I full-on comprehend that you don't mean a literal grave, I only used graveyard references to stay in tune with your play on the 'one foot in the grave' cliche that is still commonly used.

I will have to admit that I am confused how an alleged "lack of common knowledge" ties into a perceived "inability to think constructively".

Don't bother explaining the above, though, for two reasons: The first reason is that I'm about to leave work for the day and don't think I'll be online again in time to deal with responding. The second is the more important one, but is also just me reiterating something that I said earlier: I don't give a shit what you think about me.

If you guys were in the same room right now, your eyes would SO meet and you would be making out. Gay or not. Thats how this whole thing would go down. Only you would have to say OH YEAH back and forth to each other a couple of times.

But don't let this stop the battle. Although to keep it interesting, I think you should both start posting in rhyme so we have a battle to spit hot fire.

I battle any sex or any race

You beating me is like Billy Crystal playin Scarface

I can't see it, I'm blind to the eyes

I came up in your face - oops, pow, surprise!

Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I personally don't think that Gerry Curl wearing guys that wore leather gloves and jackets in the middle of hot ass LA are the people you want to go to for race relations.

Well, Easy did walk through the White House without a business suit,

Compton hat, gerry curl--dripping on Ronald Reagan's shoes.

So I think he should, perhaps, have a say on all this.

Aw shucks.  :(

All the older foot soldiers at my Aryan Nations meeting had a good chuckle when I told them about our conversation, snuffbox. (/bad joke to show that there aren't any lingering feelings on this side)

Is it safe to presume that you and I can go back to normal message boarding now?

And, Ripper, why would I make out with snuffbox? I've already announced that you're the one that I <3.

If I wasn't so busy keeping my hidden racist agenda ... oops, I mean defending myself from accusations ... I'd have given it love, Slayer. It was funny.

Of course, I tend to be among your best audience (you're the originator of niskie, and also coined my custom title at TP) so it might be best that I didn't give the shout out this time. I don't want you to get lazy and think that I'll give all your jokes such acclaim.

In case you were wondering, like I was, what Master P's take was on all this...

Laura Bush Says Kanye West's Comments Were Disgusting

Earlier this month during a live hurricane relief broadcast on NBC, rapper Kanye West accused President Bush of not caring about black people. First Lady Laura Bush responded to the rapper's comments during a radio interview on Thursday (September 8). The First Lady said, "I think all of those remarks are disgusting, to be perfectly frank, because of course President Bush cares about everyone in our country. And I know that. I mean, I'm the person who lives with him. I know what he's like, and I know what he thinks, and I know how he cares about people."

While rappers such as Jay-Z, David Banner, Nelly, and others have backed West's statement. New Orleans resident Master P thinks that the comments weren't made at the right time. He told allhiphop.com, "I think that if Kanye West [felt] like that, he needed to wait, 'cause I got people in my community dying right now. I got kids lost, I got parents lost, I got people got nowhere to go back to right now, so we need the government. We gon' need the president."

Master P, who started his own relief organization, Team Rescue, added, "We from New Orleans, we feel the pain, we feel the anger. This what we going through. This is not a game for us. This is not a joke, this is not about money. This is not about selling records."

West, for his part, has attempted to clarify and offer an explanation for his statements. During the BET S.O.S. Telethon on Friday (September 9), the rapper said, "I just let my heart speak for itself without thinking about my image or how it's gonna hurt me financially. I felt the world needed to hear from me...I just do it and I say what I really feel."
