Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 2001 Spring Breakout Mr. Nitro? I was thrown out of Club La Vela in March for jumping in the pool. Had to man. WCW superbump site. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, Mike Sanders saw me acting like an idiot with my boys and asked me to sign up. I won one of the contests and was supposed to be on Nitro but had to leave for class. Great times, and I have LOADS of killer stroies!!
Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Okay, I have Mr. T listed twice, Windham listed twice, and Bundy, Kai, and Andre not listed at all. There were 22 wrestlers and 22 questions.

There were 22 wrestlers and 22 questions. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Was Bundy ever in MLW? Andre must be one of the ones we put Mr. T for. I'd guess #10. Or he could be #20. Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Okay, here is where I'm thinking the guy messed up....... Leilani Kai appeared at WMI and WMX, making it 9 years between appearances. The only problem is Hogan is right with her at 9 years, and Windham and Funk both have longer sabbaticals.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Could #10 be Andre and #20 be Bundy?
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Bundy lives down the street from me, I could call him... (I'm not, BTW)
Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 One angle I was thinking of would be that Arn Anderson beat Andre twice in a row (tag team matches---not pinning him) which would open up Hogan for one of the questions, possibly 10 or 20.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Maybe Hogan was used in a Rocky game?
Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2005 Final list that I could come up with. If anyone can provide different answers for 4, 7, 10, 12 or an answer for 20, please let me know. #1-David Sammartino #2-Iron Sheik #3-Buddy Rose #4-LeiLani Kai (Hogan tied her, Funk actually holds the record of 12 years) #5-Matt Borne #6-Mr. T #7-Hulk Hogan #8-S.D. Jones #9-Nikolai Volkolff #10-Andre the Giant (Mr. T was as well!) #11-Tito Santana #12-Barry Windham #13-Wendi Richter #14-"Rowdy"Roddy Piper #15-Big John Studd #16-Mike Rotunda #17-Greg Valentine #18-Paul Orndorff #19-Junkyard Dog #20-King Kong Bundy #21-Ricky Steamboat #22-Brutus Beefcake EDITED as a final list!!! Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2005 4 has to be Windham. 7 is definitely Hogan. 10. Muhammad Ali. 20 is Bundy. I remember an article from Slam.ca that detailed the exact story. Woehrle is also a resident of Jersey, where Bundy is from.

Woehrle is also a resident of Jersey, where Bundy is from. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am not questioning whether you are right or wrong on 4 or 7, but do you have proof on those? Just curious, because everyone pretty much has come to that conclusion but if you have proof that would solidify it. And about Ali being 10, it has to be a wrestler. I'm thinking that Andre was in some other video game.
Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2005 I am also taking Windham out of the "longest sabbatical between WM matches" question simply because he didn't technically wrestle on WM13, it was the pre-show. Also, the question is worded where it could be open for a female answer, and Leilani Kai had a 9 year sabbatical from I-X which was the longest for some time. The only problem is Hogan tied her at 18 and is also a WMI wrestler, and Terry Funk beat everyone (2-XIV) but didn't wrestle at WMI. So, to win the tape that this guy is giving away, you should put Leilani Kai in that space and add the info about Hogan, then Funk. I'm sure that will top any ties. With all of that, Andre has to be number 10 by default as he is the only wrestler that hasn't been used so far. Add the info about Mr. T also being in a videogame, and this guy will have to consider that over a tie as well.

The Free-For-All match was Billy Gunn v. Flash Funk. 7 is definitely Hogan, because Arn is the trivia question answer to "who is the only man to have consecutive victories against Hulk Hogan". This happened on two consecutive Nitro episodes. As for 10, I said Ali because it looked like a trick question. I mean, if you're being technical, he was on the card. Additionally, I don't remember a video game using Mr. T as a likeness. Windham was in the tag battle royal at WM 14. Actually, it was Bradshaw and Chainz. Dandy 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 Actually, it was Bradshaw and Chainz. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, it was Bradshaw and Chainz at 14. But if you check the history at wwe.com, they say that Windham was in the free for all match at WM13. (Edited for accuracy!!!) I understand about the Ali one, but I looked at the rules the guy posted with the questions, and he said there were 22 wrestlers and 22 questions, each wrestler could only be used once.
