Epic Reine Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Who in your opinion is the most famous wrestler to never work in the WWE or WCW atone time or another? New Jack? Shark Boy? Who do you think it is?
The Mandarin Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Right now, it might be AJ Styles. EDIT: Wait, didn't he appear on WCW a few times? My new answer is Samoa Joe who's pretty much the rising superstar of the indies.
Ravenbomb Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Lou Thesz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thesz counts?
Guest Ransome Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Lou Thesz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This one's an arguable inclusion. For one thing, Thesz did wrestle in (and win) the Legends Battle Royale hosted by the WWF in 1987.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Lou Thesz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thesz counts? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He never worked for WCW or WWFF/F/E NWA? Yes. WCW? No. WCW might have been under the NWA umbrella but Thesz didn't work for WCW.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 I guess he did have a one off shot with WWF, so I guess he's omited from this list.
Corey_Lazarus Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Did Giant Baba ever do any WWF/WWE or WCW shows?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Did Giant Baba ever do any WWF/WWE or WCW shows? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you consider the NWA and WCW as one and the same, then yes. He was in for, at least, the 1986 and 1987 Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup tag team tournaments.

For one thing, Thesz did wrestle in (and win) the Legends Battle Royale hosted by the WWF in 1987. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I thought there was something like that he wrestled in...
CanadianChick Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Hm, good question. I'd say Sting I think.
Ravenbomb Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Hm, good question. I'd say Sting I think. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
CanadianChick Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 I get that look for saying Sting, but no one gets that for AJ freaking Styles?
Ravenbomb Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 I get that look for saying Sting, but no one gets that for AJ freaking Styles? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, but Sting wrestled for WCW a lot more than AJ Styles did...
CanadianChick Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 HA! I totally read it as non-WWE, not non-WWE/WCW. Carry on.

World's Worst Man Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 El Santo and Rikidozan. Was that the answer you were looking for?
Fartsauce Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 I hear a lot of people talk about The Crusher from AWA glory. Did he ever wrestle for the WWF or WCW/NWA?
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Crusher worked at least 3-5 times for the WWE in 87 into 88.
Internet Warfare Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Bruiser Brody was the first one that came to mind.
Mystery Eskimo Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Who in your opinion is the most famous wrestler to never work in the WWE or WCW atone time or another? New Jack? Shark Boy? Who do you think it is? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sharky wrestled in WCW a few times. Did Kid Kash?

Who do you think it is? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sharky wrestled in WCW a few times. Did Kid Kash? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kid Kash had an official debut on WCW programming maybe a week or two before WWE bought them out.
Carnival Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Would Sabu count? He was on WWF programming although not employed by the company. If not then I'd say......maybe new jack is the most well known.
Guest Askewniverse Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Steve Corino?!?!?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Corino made a few appearances as a jobber on Shotgun Saturday Night. Would Sabu count? He was on WWF programming although not employed by the company. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sabu had a brief run in WCW in 1995.
gwf0704 Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Kevin Von Erich David Von Erich Bruiser Brody (already mentioned) El Santo (already mentioned) Blue Demon Canek Crusher Blackwell Stu Hart? Most of them did work for the NWA but not WCW...

He was on WWF programming although not employed by the company. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sabu had a brief run in WCW in 1995. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wondering if he did. I didn't know for sure. I was just thinking of him almost signing with WCW in 2000. i wasn't aware he had been employed there already.
