Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Georgia Tech's going to finish this season something like 7-4, but I'll be thrilled if they pull off the upset tomorrow. Unfortunately the UVA game is at the same time, so I'll be watching my guys thrash Duke. Which has its own appeal, I suppose.
cabbageboy Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Hey, around here I'll likely get to see Florida assrape UK....by half I'll be begging for Washington/ND.
Slayer Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 Fuck, the g/f's not gonna like this TV situation
BruiserKC Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 As a Hawkeye fan, I'm obviously going to be in front of the tube tomorrow for the game. I wonder if it will be like 2002...when Iowa was written off after losing to Iowa State and then ran the table in the Big Ten. Iowa has a real shot to steal one from the Buckeyes in the Shoe. However...as I hate Notre Dame I don't want to watch them...I'd like to see Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech since that will be a sweet game. This vote for Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech is coming from the Corn Belt.
Bored Posted September 24, 2005 Author Report Posted September 24, 2005 Army up on Iowa State 14-7 at the half. Army hasn't defeated a ranked team in 33 years.
teke184 Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Army up on Iowa State 14-7 at the half. Army hasn't defeated a ranked team in 33 years. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell, I don't think Army's beaten a team who had defeated a ranked team in almost that long...
BruiserKC Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Iowa State 28, Army 21...Final Might be at least another week or so to see if ISU is for real...they go to Lincoln next week, and Nebraska is a very weak 3-0.
Urban Warfare Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Iowa in trouble at the 'Shoe, down 14-0 early in the second.
Urban Warfare Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Iowa now down 24-0 but that's the good part since they should be down 38-0.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Purdue and Minnesota are going to overtime.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Wow. DJ Hall catches a 5 yard TD pass from Croyle with NOBODY even remotely covering him. Way to play defense, Arkansas. 24-13 Alabama with 2:20 to go in the game.
therealworldschampion Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Penn State comes back from a 4th and 15 at their own 17 yard line, and Robinson throws a TD pass to Derrick Williams to win 34-29.
Bored Posted September 24, 2005 Author Report Posted September 24, 2005 Wow Minnesota wins a big game for once.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Man, VT is violating Georgia Tech like a prison whore. They should have cut away from this game after the first quarter.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 And people wanted this game over ND/Washington?
therealworldschampion Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Notre Dame up 29-3 over Washington.
Urban Warfare Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 If I'm Urban Meyer, I put Chris Leak back in for that stunt and let him ass rape the Kentucky defense.
Damaramu Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 So does anyone think Texas Tech will actually score 100?
Bored Posted September 24, 2005 Author Report Posted September 24, 2005 USC killing themself early. Fumbled punt leads to a field goal, Dwayne Jarret lets a touchdown go through his hands and is intercepted, Oregon then scored a touchdown. Turnover on downs and Oregon is moving again.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 I don't know why USC didn't go for the FG.... stupid Carroll, but we got plenty of time to get back into it.
Bored Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 South Florida is up 21-0 on Louisville.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 FG by Oregon puts them up 13-0...
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 USC scores to make it 13-7.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 13-10 on account of USC FG.
nogoodnick Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 I went tailgaiting at the Oregon game for a bit and I couldve gotten a ticket for $65 but I forgot my damn wallet. Aside from that touchdown Reggie Bush hasnt broken any big plays. Hes probably due for a long run or catch.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 No but Bush has been solid. He has 50+ yards rushing and about 40 yards receiving.
snuffbox Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 Wisconsin finally takes the lead over Michigan.
Bored Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 For those of you outside the West Coast who are mad about not getting this game well guess what we have to put up with next week...NEVADA VS. SAN JOSE STATE! While the majority of you will get Michigan vs. Michigan State (others Texas/Missouri) we have to sit through that crap. ABC has this bizarre deal where they have to show a WAC game every year and they never even pick a good one. Okay on the brightside we get the best middle of the day game, USC/ASU but good lord what makes ABC think Nevada/San Jose State would get better ratings on the West Coast than Michigan/Michigan State? This is just a ploy for more people to sign up for ESPN Gameplan which is fairly useless outside of getting all the ABC games. Speaking of Michigan they are crumbling in the 4th against Wisconsin. And then get an incerception right back, so nevermind.
