Star Ocean 3 Posted October 8, 2005 Report Posted October 8, 2005 Yankees-Anybody: The world collapses in a broken sea of lost hope.
Bruiser Chong Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 "Breaking news" out of New York: Washburn will not start due to a throat infection. Instead, Lackey takes the mound. I tend to think this bodes well for the Angels.
2GOLD Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Whole lotta gay jokes going to come out of that one.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 9, 2005 Author Report Posted October 9, 2005 "Breaking news" out of New York: Washburn will not start due to a throat infection. Instead, Lackey takes the mound. I tend to think this bodes well for the Angels. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jarrod Washburn's got a fever, and the prescription is John Lackey on short rest!
Guest TheDon Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Why not have Colon pitch on 4 days rest today and if needed have Lackey pitch on 4 days rest tommorow if the Yankees force a game 5. Pretty that Michael Jordan could play basketball with the FLU but Washburn cant throw a baseball with a sore throat.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 9, 2005 Author Report Posted October 9, 2005 I'm certain it is not simply a sore throat. And Jarrod Washburn is not Michael Jordan.
Guest TheDon Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 I just read that Colon was sent home back to California yesterday in case there was a game 5 and supposedly he has a bad back.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 9, 2005 Author Report Posted October 9, 2005 That's correct. Mussina's in Anaheim as well.
Bruiser Chong Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Watching any more baseball today would be like watching The Land Before Time VI right after seeing Citizen Kane.
devo Posted October 9, 2005 Report Posted October 9, 2005 Agreed...but something's gotta be watched before SNF, and it's either Yankees/Angels or the CBJ hockey game. Â Ah, I'll switch between the two.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted October 9, 2005 Author Report Posted October 9, 2005 Live AIM chat at TSMBaseball.
Precious Roy Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 Pitchers duel so far. I get a little choked up when the crowd showers Bernie with love. I'd join the chat, but I'm afraid of all the anti-Yankee vibes jinxing me or something
Guest Smues Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 Â Â Â Â Â That's really annoying. Stupid virtual ads.
Fartsauce Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 2-0 Angels. The wheels on the bus are falling off, falling off.
Guest Smues Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 But what about the head, shoulders, knees and toes????
Precious Roy Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 But what about the head, shoulders, knees and toes???? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â seriously, what the fuck is wrong with FOX?
Precious Roy Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 What isn't wrong with Fox? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â touche
Precious Roy Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 I hate to be on anything negative when we're having such a good inning, but Giambi has had some weak ABs tonight
mike546 Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 Leaving the bases loaded is going to come back and haunt us in this game.
