I don't think HHH is the best on RAW. In fact I think the smartest thing he did in a long time was take the summer off. He has WAY too much input into what goes on and who gets to do what. I really don't think he's good for the business in general.

Smackdown has a better roster than RAW. Unfortunately, their booking is horrendous and thusly they have no idea how to use it. Hell, they don't even need to write anything; just put on two hours of good match-ups like Regal/Birchall vs. Psichosis/Super Crazy, Benoit/Orton, or MNM vs. Spanky/Paul London and everybody will be happy. It must hella frustrating for Heyman to watch Smackdown! without yelling at his T.V. every half-minute.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure Kamehameha's like 12 or something and is probably more concerned with his Yu-Gi-Oh deck then WWE's in-ring action. Or basic grammar.

Although I think Angle has been booked pretty badly (losing a goddamn handicap match for starters), I thought it was awesome that he CLEANLY beat Cena in the 6-Man Tag match on RAW. RAW has always been the flagship show.

 

SmackDown has always been and will always be the B-Show.

 

There was a period when they were teaming the midcard all together with the likes of Edge, Rey, Cena (when he had first come in), etc against some of the bigger names which was pretty cool. That's really about the only good run they had.

 

RAW was the first cab off the ranks, it's always been treated as the main event, the big names and the big boys are there. I hate that Cena is the RAW champ but he'll drop it (HOPEFULLY) to Angle at some point. That'll be sweet.

 

On SmackDown's plus side, they've got some really talented youngsters coming through. I REALLY like MR KENNEDY... KENNEDY. That guy rules. Also Bobby Lashley is HUGE and he looks like he can back it up with some sweet suplexes and his impressive amateur background. Plus they've got Benoit, Booker, Christian, Eddie.. Who are proven that if used correctly can be big names in the industry. But what are the odds of that happening?

 

All in all, i'd say WWE are focused on keeping momentum on RAW and USA Network, but will eventually see what they've got going on with SmackDown and we should see a turnaround from both shows. They should be moving UP and not down..

By your logic, Ishtar was a better movie than Swingers because it had Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman in it compared to Vince Vaughn and John Favreau. It's not of course and is considered a shitty movie but it's got the better and more versatile talent in it, so obviously it doesn't suck.

 

SD has sucked for a couple of years now, the really decline being after JBL got the belt. As for it's comparison to RAW, just because one pile of shit doesn't reek as bad as the other doesn't mean they both aren't stinking messes.

I have to agree with Lushus on the Michael Cole thing...I can't stand his announcing...they either need a third man or just get rid of him for somebody better...I don't know who that is but I find it hard to believe that there aren't at least two better announcers out there than Cole...and Tazz gets old I think because he has nobody better to play off of...and the Raw Midcard stomps a mudhole in SD! but the upper card I like...but it is a tv show and to get somebody over on tv you need good commentating and on that part SD! does indeed suck...
