Guest nosferatu Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 As seen on Hannity and Colmes with debate between Sean Hannity and James Carville: Hannity: " Uday and Kusay are dead-ay" I don't care what you guys think, that shit was funny!
NoCalMike Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 How about posting the entire transcript...
Vyce Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Hannity & Carville: I can't think of two other men that I'd rather see get their skulls crushed in by baseball bats more than them.

Hannity has aged fast in five years.
CanadianGuitarist Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 When was this? Why was he so jubilant(how it kinda sounds from reading it) about killings from two and half years ago?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 and did it really warrant a thread?
Guest nosferatu Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 How about posting the entire transcript... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would but they didn't even show the entire debate, so i just wanted to put that up cause it was funny....
Guest nosferatu Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 When was this? Why was he so jubilant(how it kinda sounds from reading it) about killings from two and half years ago? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well basically , as far as the editing of the footage goes, he was replying to James Carville's rant about how the administration has failed to really accomplish anything in the war, but please don't quote me on that one. So Hannity replied basically saying that "in the past three years, Uday and Kusay are dead-ay, saddamn is about to be tried and sentenced for his crimes, and 70 percent of al-qaida have been brought to justice....yadda yadda yadda"....those aren't the exact quotes word for word, but you get the idea of where he was coming from...

That pairing makes Carville vs. Novak seem almost tolerable.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 ...70 percent of al-qaida (sic) have been brought to justice....<{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is bullshit. While Hannity made the claim to support his contention about the current progress of the administration's anti-terrorism campaign, the assertion appears to be based on a CIA estimate of the roughly 25 Al Qaeda leaders known as of September 11, 2001...Al Qaeda's next generation of terrorist leaders have gradually replaced the older set, limiting the figure's relevance as a current measure of U.S. success against the terrorist group. Hannity's claim echoed a similar administration claim that "75 percent" of Al Qaeda leaders have been killed or captured; for instance, President Bush said that "three-quarters of Al Qaeda leaders have been brought to justice" during the third 2004 presidential debate. In fact, then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice admitted to CNN on October 3, 2004, that the administration did not know how many leaders its 75 percent claim represented -- she placed it in the range of "tens to 100." At the time, CNN political analyst William Schneider noted that recent estimates said that Al Qaeda "may have as many as 18,000 potential operatives."

Jobber of the Week Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Sounds like the production guys probably wanted to protect Hannity quite a bit if they wouldn't show the whole thing.
