Big Ol' Smitty Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 "Make Em Say Uhhh" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're just not sophisticated enough to get the song.
Slayer Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Fuck that Slayer-hater Wonder what he did to get the boot though..
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 He didn't last long. I'd probably have banned him cos I was embarrassed to find I shared a mutual liking of one album with him (Alice) when he liked so much shite.
Black Lushus Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Fuck that Slayer-hater Wonder what he did to get the boot though.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you don't hang out in the wrestling folders, do you?
Slayer Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Have you seen me in the wrestling folders?
Black Lushus Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 Have you seen me in the wrestling folders? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> stop being a bitch... anyway, he's been actin all sorts of retarded in the WWE folder so my guess is that it finally got him booted out of here...
Slayer Posted October 19, 2005 Report Posted October 19, 2005 stop being a bitch... Up yours, Whitey McCracker
Skywarp! Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 "American Pie" - Don Mclean <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good call. It's also way too long for what it is. It's up there with "Sweet Caroline" on the list of my most hated songs, as well.
Red Baron Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I agree with Inc on the Dan Maclean song. I'd nominate Hey Jude as well, but it might be for my hatred for Paul McCartney than anything else.
cabbageboy Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I'm shocked no one has mentioned "Mmmm mmmm mmmm" by the Crash Test Dummies. A friend of mine actually bought that CD and hated it so much he took a knife to it and carved a huge scratch into it, then took it back to the store.
ant_7000 Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 "Shake that Laffy Taffy" is got to be the worst song i've heard recently. If southern rap wasn't so hot right now, this song never would get a spin at a station.
The Amazing Rando Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 That one Jet song is the worst. I hear that beginning and I'm thinking Iggy Pop when reality comes crashing down and I'm left sad and betrayed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ding Ding! Betrayal is about the feeling, yes. As for "Diary of an Unborn Fetus" ... love it. Lil Markie rules. There is a song that I loathe, and hear it every day on the radio. It's not a new song or anything, but I just hear it all the time and it drives me fucking up all the wall. I have no idea who is the artist nor the title. I try to block out memory of it. The only thing I can say is that the reason I hate it is that it does not seem to ever have a chorus. It sounds like it's going to hit and then BOOOM....back to another verse. It drives me insane. Female vocalist too.
Skywarp! Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 I agree with Inc on the Dan Maclean song. I'd nominate Hey Jude as well, but it might be for my hatred for Paul McCartney than anything else. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "The wrong two Beatles died first." -- George Carlin
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 They are dying in the wrong order. McCartney is such a twat.
Slayer Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Maybe it's partially due to not growing up in the times, but I'll never understand the John Lennon love
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Well no, not really, I'm not an avid Beatles fan by any means and never will be, but McCartney has produced so much vile shittery in his lifetime, and those basses are hideous.
Slayer Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 JET! ooh ooooooh ooh oooooooh ooh oooooooooh ooh oooooooooh JET! ooh ooooooh ooh oooooooh ooh oooooooooh ooh oooooooooh
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Alan Partridge on Wings Hotel Assistant: 'not heard of em.' Alan:(laughs) 'They're only the band the Beatles could have been!'
Giuseppe Zangara Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Paul McCartney wrote some good songs, which, I guess, is easy to forget due to his crimes against humanity over the last 35 years.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 And people tend to romanticize Lennon because of his death. Sure, within the Beatles, I prefer his songs to McCartney's, but what of Lennon's solo career? Largely unexceptional outside of one album and a handful of other songs (none of which are "Imagine," by the way).
Darthtiki Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 My Neck, My Back by Khia and well as anything by the Gedde sisters (The Aryan Olsen Twins).
nl5xsk1 Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 "Human Pony Girl" by Samhain. Bad lyrics, bad music, bad everything, really. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How you guys let this one slide is beyond me ... I don't think that Glenn was looking for insightful lyrics at the time, so I won't defend that. But musically that song rocks. Zarock, a winner is not you.

Largely unexceptional outside of one album and a handful of other songs (none of which are "Imagine," by the way). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed (except for Working Class Hero) EDIT: As much as everyone seems to hate them, I'm surprised nobody's nominated anything by Collective Soul
Giuseppe Zangara Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 His Plastic Ono Band is solid as a whole, but the two bonus tracks tacked at the end of the 2000 reissue completely wreck the mood of the album. And they aren't even that good, anyway!

And they aren't even that good, anyway! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Power to the people" and "Do the Oz" were the bonus ones, right? If so, then yeah, I totally agree.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted October 22, 2005 Report Posted October 22, 2005 Yeah. POB is a dark rumination on life and death; some single from around that time featuring dunderheadly blunt political commentary need not be tacked on for the sake of padding.
Dogbert Posted October 22, 2005 Report Posted October 22, 2005 Easy question to answer. There's a song on the Quebec charts right now called "Choupeta". It's a lame ripoff of that Ketchup song from a few years back. That should be all you need to hear.
The Amazing Rando Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 The song from my earlier post... Sade - Hang On To Your Love GOD I FUCKING HATE THAT SONG!
