Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2005 Stupid question... In a H2H, would I be better off trading Jamaal's Tinsley and Magloire for Stephen Jackson and PJ Brown?
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2005 It depends on whether you want to give up assists from Tinsley for the defensive skills of Jackson and the rebounds of Brown.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2005 Hmmmm...good point. I think I'm good in the assists dept (I have both Nash and Kidd). I'm leaning towards the trade because Magloire and Tinsley are more injury prone than Magloire and Tinsley.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2005 If you have Nash and Kidd then you don't need Tinsley.

Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 I would try and do Tinsley straight up for Jackson. They're about equal in value, but Magloire is more valuable than Brown IMO, they get about the same boards and %'s, but Magloire will give you more points and blocks
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Tinsley and Magloire also played 67 games combined last year. I say do the trade.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2005 Well, Tinsley is injury prone, but I think it was just bad luck for Magloire. We'll see. Also, PJ Brown isn't getting any younger....and could see a drop to 8-8 levels
Detox 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 you really want to be deep at C/PF or you will lose the rebounding battle every week. also if you recieve any other offers see if the person can be plugged in at multiple positions, for instance you can play Tim Duncan at PF,F,C and Util, that is very valuable if one of the PF/C you don't usually start gets hot. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Just remember very good PF's and C' are hard to come by whereas there are tons of SF's and G's that can get you stats. If you can land a top 5 PF or C, you should do it unless you are being asked to drop a guard like Kobe, T-Mac, Wade, or LeBron.
