Enigma Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Referee Brian Hebner has been fired by WWE. No details have been revealed as to why he was let go. It should be noted that Brian has had some behavior issues in the past. Earl and Dave Hebner coming under hot water from WWE management back in the summer and then being subsequently fired probably didn't help matters. WWE is now Hebner-less for the first time since the 80's. Referee Chris Kay was moved from Raw to Smackdown to make up for the loss. Credit: Dave Meltzer/Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Guest clockworkraven Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 At least he didn't get low-blowed by Linda McMahon. On camera.
David Blazenwing Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 At least he didn't get low-blowed by Linda McMahon. On camera. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't give them ideas... they're still working out the details for Monday's RAW.
Eclipse Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Brian is the son correct? Really sucks that he loses out on his job.
Guest Korgath Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Bummer. Brian Hebner was the only other referee besides Nik Patrick who actually had a memorable character, especially after his Dad left.
cabbageboy Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I dunno, what about Charles Robinson?
The Amazing Rando Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 What about Referee Sylvan Grenier~
Guest Fook Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 What about Bischoff this past Monday?
haVoc Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 There's enough heel boss' on Raw. I'm sure Bischoff, Steph and Vince will be filling the role as ref on an occasion or two.
J.B. Buzzkill Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I hope I'm not the only person who remembers him beatboxing for John Cena...
Vampiro69 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I actually like Brian Hebner alot more then Earl.
razazteca Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I dunno, what about Charles Robinson? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lil Naitch!
Vampiro69 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Charles Robinson is my favorite ref in the business.
Guest xad Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Anybody want to shed some light as to what this "behaviour issue" thing is about?
teke184 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Anybody want to shed some light as to what this "behaviour issue" thing is about? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know he had some personality conflicts with one of the top refs of the show he was on, which resulted in him getting transferred from SD to RAW, if I remember correctly.
pochorenella Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I hope I'm not the only person who remembers him beatboxing for John Cena... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember him doing that for Bryan "Spanky" Kendrick on SD! a couple of years back. Spanky was rappin' some stuff to john Cena. I don't remember doing it WITH Cena, though.
Damaramu Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 What happened to the other 2 Hebners?
Guest clockworkraven Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 What happened to the other 2 Hebners? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unofficially selling WWE merchandise, I think.
Jericholic82 Posted October 30, 2005 Report Posted October 30, 2005 I hope I'm not the only person who remembers him beatboxing for John Cena... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember him doing that for Bryan "Spanky" Kendrick on SD! a couple of years back. Guest Samantha Posted October 30, 2005 Report Posted October 30, 2005 Spanky came out and said he had a rap but he needed a bit and Cena made Brian give him one. I have it on my computer.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 Anybody want to shed some light as to what this "behaviour issue" thing is about? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He made a scene during one of their tours of England a few months ago. I don't remember the specifics, but he got very drunk and made a complete fool of himself in public. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the first time he had done something like that, and it was felt that his dad had pulled some strings to keep Brian his job. With no dad around, Brian had no safety net, and he was living on borrowed time.
Vyce Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 Is it wrong that I don't care about this? I never liked any of the Hebners. Any of them.
Rendclaw Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 The Lil Naitch angle was the absolute best.
