Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Green bay would probably end up getting Reggie Bush from USC <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which of course means they'll draft Leinart.

Robert 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Well, I just got back from the game and I enjoyed it, but a loss is a loss. Sat next to a Steelers fan, and I gotta admit you Steeler fans are pretty loyal. Got to met some players, mostly Kampman, Godo, Driver, and Joey Porter. Porter's a stand-up guy, and is really nice. X, can you shut up about drafting Leinart? The last QB we drafted with a top pick was Rich Campbell, who was freaking bust. I'd rather draft a running back like Bush, White, Jones, or even he comes out: Brian Calhoun. Also met Phil Simms whose really nice, and it was a fun weekend. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 I don't think VX wants Leinart. He is just saying the Packers would draft him.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Apparently Officer, you missed the whole thing about Aaron Rodgers being drafted last year. And I was being sarcastic about the Matt Leinart thing because of the Rodgers thing. And what the fuck is a Packers fan doing with "Bernie Kosar, Motherfucker!" in his sig? TRAITOR~
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Oh that was a fucking catch! Asshole ref.
Robert 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Well first and foremost, Bernie Kosar never really did good against the Packers, and if I had something praising Jim McMahon, John Elway, Troy Aikman, or Fran Tarkenton you could call me a traitor. I actually like Kosar as a QB, because he did good on a Browns team who had about two good players on offnese, and could lead a good comeback. The 86 playoffs against the Jet's is a great Kosar comeback and that game was great to see live. About Leinart, I've been hearing what you've been saying but not sarcastic. People who were born in 1989 talking about drafting him and how bad it is to lose. You sat through the drought, and Packer fans are at there worst when losing. EDIT: Kosar is 0-1 all time vs the Packers, which makes it good to be a Kosar fan.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Jim McMahon was a Packer at one point though.
Robert 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 He was a Bear, Viking, and Eagle and he beat us alot with those three teams so on he's on the list. That, and well he was a Bear during the 80's and I hate/respect the Bears. it's 80% hate and 20% respect, and hate wins.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Same here. I'm obligated to hate the Packers and yet I can't help but respect Brett Favre. I guess watching the Bears have a revolving door at the QB position, you grow to appreciate stability elsewhere, even if it is at the rival's team.

Had McMahon not gotten hurt in 1991, the Eagles would've made the playoffs and who know what could've happened, that 1991 Eagles defense was the definition of nasty and probably could've held down every opposing offense if you gave them a 14 point lead. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Yeah going 4-4 is heartbreaking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well seems how they're last in the division now and the rest of the division is playing lights out. Yeah they'd need to have a huge turnaround and the other teams in the division would have to fall for them to do this.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 May I ask how you became an Eagles and Red Sox fan living in Oklahoma. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've always hated the Cowboys since day one. Everyone in Oklahoma liked them and it was during the "America's team" BS. And I really liked Randall Cunningham. And I was a little kid and green was my fav color. So I was like "I love this dude at QB and his colors are green!" and it just kind of grew from there. The Red Sox. It's just when you don't watch baseball(i didn't get hardcore into it until the end of the 03 season) you only really know the big teams. And I didn't like the Cubs and I knew I hated the Yankees(never been fond of NY or LA my whole life) so I went for the Yankees rivals. Grew from there. Red Sox fans are everywhere but I think I'm the only Eagles fan in Oklahoma. Oh and I like the Celtics. Same story as the rest really. Liked the players and colors when I was a kid. That and I'm Irish.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Once/If the Bengals beat a team with a winning record, Palmer gets the MVP vote from me, hands down. That's interesting about this year, considering there aren't any candidates for the MVP that I can immediately think of. LT gets props if he sniffs any records this year, and especially if he gets close to 2000 and helps the Chargers get into the playoffs.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 Without Brady, the Pats would be in the crapper right now with their lack of a constant running game and weakened defense, so I'd give him consideration. I think LT is the 1st half MVP, though.

UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 The Cowboys schedule here in the 2nd half is brutal. They have to play on the road against all the NFC East teams, and also go to Carolina, and they have Denver and KC at home. If they make the playoffs they will definitely have earned it.
