MNF for Nov 7: Colts vs Pats

Recommended Posts

NE doesn't really have much of a shot. Their offense doesn't get going until the second half, their offensive line cannot block for the run or the pass, the defense doesn't force turnovers and the defensive line is still out of whack.

If the Colts cannot beat this team, they are really going to be in trouble with the rest of their schedule.

The Colts will smash on the hurting Patriots and to even think otherwise is fuckin foolish. If the Pats were healthier, I'd give this game "it'll be close" remark but in the end I'd still give this game to the Colts.

Freeney and Co. can stop NE's run. The Colts 2ndary *will* come to play and I don't see Brady completing many passes. The Colts have one of the best offensive lines in the league and the Pats are just so banged up on the otherside of the ball that I doubt they'll be effective.

Get ready to bust out party gifts Alf cuz your team is winning this game tonight in dramatic fashion (ala Bears/Cowboys '85 MNF game).

As long as the Colts remember to establish Edgerrin, they should have no problem, as the Pats run defense is decimated. I still think it's going to be a tight game, though...

Still...

Dillon is out too apparently, the hits just keep coming. All the more embarrasing if the Colts do lose(which I know they wont).

If the Colts do lose, I'll be confused. There is no earthly reason they should lose this game. NE hasn't even shown flashes of being a good team this year. And the biggest key reasons the Pats have been able to beat the Colts in the past, forced turnovers, shouldn't be happen since the Pats cannot create a turnover with this team.

Unless Steve Atwatter and Ronnie Lott came out of retirement, found the fountain of youth and are now starting for the Patriots...there is just nothing in the secondary worth a damn.

I completely agree and it hurts.

ALthough one thing I always believe in is that a team can "get away" with having a halfassed secondary if the Pass Rush is good enough. Pressuring the QB into making mistakes can make any DB look like a star. The problem is without seymour they have NO pass rush to speak of.

The only way the Pats win tonight is miracles and mistakes.

lol, i'm as big a fan as there is, but i'm also realistic.

actually you're quite the fairweather fan. You turned on Brady after the game in Miami last year. I'm not saying this to start shit, its just true.

Oh, and Dillon is starting tonight while Patrick Pass is inactive.

I'm just saying the secondary isn't worth a damn cause they haven't proven they are worth a damn. I mean, only TWO interceptions as a team and the only one to go for any return yards was by a linebacker (Vrabel).

No one on the defense has more than three sacks and only 13 sacks as a team. Allowing 25 points a game, 359 yards a game with 230 yards a game passing and the pathetic two INTs as a team ties for dead last with the Raiders and the Texans. Oh and they are dead last in forced fumbles.
