Guest wootman Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Not a year goes by where WWE doesn't have at least one good ole fashioned firing spree. Every year since 2002, WWE has let go of at least 20 wrestlers. To bring in new wrestlers, you have to let go of some wrestlers. It's like a revolving door. Look at the WWE roster from 2003 and half the people aren't around anymore. Anyways, I'd say the following people don't have a lot of time left in their WWE careers and most of them will be gone by next summer. Here is the people who I think will be gone, not who I want gone. Rosey - He is SO GONE. I'll be shocked if he doesn't survive the next batch of cuts. Orlando Jordan - he's gone Kid Kash - will probably get himself fired anyways Doug Basham - he can't even get on TV Road Warrior Animal - I'm surprised he's lasted this long. I don't seeing him staying more than a year though. Simon Dean - I think WWE will finally pull the plug on him. Steven Richards - He won't survive the cuts this time. Scotty 2 Hotty - him neither Danny Basham - I'm surprised he survived the last cuts. Is there a more lowly superstar in WWE than Danny Basham? He's gone. He made one TV appearance and hasn't been seen since. Gregory Helms - I think becoming himself was a bad move. He's the type of wrestler that needs an outrageous gimmick to stand out as he doesn't stand out being himself, unlike Buff Bagwell. Johnny Parisi - I'm shocked he even got employment in the first. Matt Striker - eh, probably Mark Henry - his contract will run out by next summer Antonio and Romeo - either they both stay or they both go, the gimmick has tired out already Victoria - well, we need at least one diva cut, don't we? I think her time in WWE is limited
Lord of The Curry Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Animal? Fired? Silly smark. He's got friends in high places.
Guest *KNK* Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 They already did their firing spree. It won't be another 6 months at the least before spring cleaning comes in play again. It could easily be a different field by then. Animal is a part of the legends roster, he isn't going to be "cut", also has the best possible "in", next to Triple H.
2GOLD Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Yeah, Stevie is the guy they can just say, "Hey..umm...guy...we have this up and coming rookie joining the roster. He has barely any experience, he's too stiff, he doesn't sell, and he's about six inches taller than you and looks like he's a big fan of Powerbars. Go out there and make him look good and powerful." Then Stevie goes out and gets a body part broken or bruised or gets knocked unconscious.
Guest *KNK* Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 People need to realize that Venis and Richards are WWE's new versions of Brooklyn Brawler. They aren't going to get cut any time soon. Each men is known to the crowd, has a good handle of the "wwe style", can give a accurate review to the office.

I swear, everytime you see Stevie it's like you can start betting how fast the guy he is in the ring with will injury him.
k thx Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 That's kinda the point. Put Masters in with Richards, and you get a look at what he can do, for better or worse. Put Masters in with someone like Dupree, on the other hand, you've got the blind leading the blind. Richards and Venis are good workers who deal with what they are given. They both know they won't earn more out of WWE, and WWE knows they're worth more than someone else they'd pay the same amount.
Guest [censored] Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Great points about Stevie and Val serving a higher purpose it's also worth noting that from their point of view if they stay with the WWE in these current roles they stand an excellent chance of landing a job like an agent or trainer or something after their in ring wrestling career is over. This is an extremely valuable benefit.
Guest Amy Ace Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Helms,Rosey, Striker, Goldust, Vader, Mark Henry. I'd don't think the WWE will ever fire Stevie Richards, I mean he's lasted this long.
Youth N Asia Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Val is the official job boy for Heat. I think they'll keep him around. And I am shocked that Scotty is still around, I thought he'd gotten axed a few times over already, but he keeps showing up
cabbageboy Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 If Stevie was fired I think he'd have no problems getting on with TNA and becoming Raven's slave again. If there's a chance a guy could get over elsewhere, they wouldn't fire him. I'm with you on Jordan, wootman. Fire that worthless piece of shit. As far as the Bashams go, they are at least well known down in OVW, so they can maybe hang around and train guys, put over guys down here, etc. Besides, Doug Basham's new gimmick is a riot..though I dunno how well it'd translate to WWE. It might seem bush league.

Spaceman Spiff Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 I'm pretty sure Doug is doing that gimmick, not Danny.

LucharesuFan619 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Scotty 2 Hotty hopefully. No charisma since the Too Cool era, average worker at best.
tekcop Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 So... why did this guy just name every lower card worker on the roster? You know, they do need these guys to job and work the bottom portion of house shows. I'd imagine Antonio, Romeo, and Simon Dean all get quite a bit of heat when in smaller settings, too. Just beccause of their gimmicks.
Mystery Eskimo Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 I think he'll be ok. They'll keep him around for the team with Spanky.
Steviekick Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 If you see them getting rid of Snitsky, than I think they might dump Tomko as well.
