Guest Boobie Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Smallest opponnet HBK has faced since the Bret Hart midget.
Guest *KNK* Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I should mention that I like Rey's outfit there with the SD Charger colors and bolt.
JustJoe2k5 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Wow...Jose Lothario...haven't heard his name since 1996.
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Did Styles just call that a Thesz Press?
The Amazing Rando Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Did Styles just call that a Thesz Press? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah.
Guest *KNK* Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I love Joey Styles. He brings such a deep understanding of the history to the table.
JustJoe2k5 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Pescado, Styles must've had all these words stored up since his ECW days. He's glad he finally gets to use them.
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 So JR is going to be in Smackdown vs. RAW 2006?
Bruiser Chong Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 It may seem inappropriate, but I couldn't help but notice a fan's incorrect use of a comma on his sign, which read, "We, will miss you Eddie."
The Czech Republic Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 It may seem inappropriate, but I couldn't help but notice a fan's incorrect use of a comma on his sign, which read, "We, will miss you Eddie." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think that's the same sign that was folded in half in a most unfortunate way so as to read "Will you die"
SuperJerk Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 So JR is going to be in Smackdown vs. RAW 2006? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Probably. As will Eddie.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I think if anything, honestly, Im glad its Styles calling this instead of JR.
Jebus Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 off topic for tonight but that was a sweet Raw Vs. SD 2006 commercial...I hated last years game and am glad that this years is getting good reviews. I'm still renting it first though...I learned my lesson last year when I couldn't return it. Back to the show...
Guest Boobie Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 A night of dream matches, a great tribute to the true Latin King of Wrestling.
ragingfear79 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 wow i cant believe an hour has passed, this is being very hard, its sad that one of the best raws in years has to be under these conditions...
iliketurtles Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Styles just adds so much to the table. So much history and emphasis and respect.
ragingfear79 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 agreed i must admit i missed him as a commentator.
Guest jumpingbombangel Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I just hope we don't get what happened on Raw is Owen. The Godfather Road dog comments in the ring. Lets not taint a night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really didn't feel like Road Dogg's remark was inappropriate since smoking a joint and telling Owen stories is likely exactly what they went back and did after the match. It just was unexpected, because everyone in the world knew those guys were potheads. Wrestlers aren't exactly known for their tact and class. With that said, though, I wouldn't brag about lighting one up for a recovering addict.

razazteca Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Pescado, Styles must've had all these words stored up since his ECW days. He's glad he finally gets to use them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Styles needs to bring back OH DIOS MIO!
CanadianChris Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 He makes the King better, too. Styles and King would be a pretty good team.
randomguy Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 In terms of wrestling this has been a great Raw so far. I guess that's fitting as Eddie always put on an entertaining match. It's nice to see that WWE can put on a show that has good wrestling along with some heart and intellgence. They can do some great stuff when they aren't trying to pander to 13-year-olds. That's really the best tribute of all - just go out and put on some great wrestling. Ha ha Rey just did his little Eddie shuffle.
Guest *KNK* Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 This has been a enjoyable match here.
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Shawn should have kipped up and then fell back down to sell the leg work. The kip up would have put too much weight on the hurt leg.
Anakin Flair Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Oops. Nice prediction by Coach, BTW.
LJSexay Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 it's driving me krazy being on the west coast just WAITING for this to come on.
JustJoe2k5 Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Shawn can call that the "Clothesline from Heaven"

The kip up would have put too much weight on the hurt leg. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If he hasn't done it in the last 15 years, why would he start now? It's pointless nitpicking.

By the way nice to see HBK sell something.
