As I watch it again, I have to say this, am I the only one who was hoping for Eddie to come running out of the abck to save Cena when the Ortons were beating him down?

Yes you were the only one.

For a bunch of guys that I don't know in any way, shape or form, I was surprised by how much their pain affected me.  You really do form a bond with wrestlers that you don't get with other entertainment.

Maybe because wrestling doesn't have an offseason, we see these people weekly and develop a connection with them without ever meeting them. There's no legit reason I should cry over the death of Eddie Guerrero.....never met him......never had any kind of contact with him.....but I did. Then I see the reactions of the people who worked with him and travelled with him and part of it becomes crying for them for their loss.

I watched Raw on tape after I got home from work and I teared to various degrees during every interview and some of the other things. It wasn't as bad as the Owen show but I guess the finality of Cena placing the shirt in the ring and then the belt upon it and that it was such a classy gesture finished me off.

The worst part is still to come for me because I know what's gonna happen when GCW does the 10 bell at the show on Friday.

I have to say this show was a great way to pay tribute Eddie. But, one question. Did anyone else kind of get a bad taste in their mouth from that last match? I mean come on we had a bunch of clean finishes all night and the main event ends in a DQ. Hell even the fans were booing it to.

At least Cena saved it at the end with his tribute. But, really since the match wasn't long they should have just skipped it and just have Cena do the tribute. But, a small bad part to an otherwise fine show.

A friend of mine on the west coast is watching this right now, and says that Candace is showing signs of becoming a good technical female wrestler.

Uh, all she did was that Tranchula rip off move. The rest of the match, she just got cheapshots in and let Victoria do all the work.

Akio actually did that move when he was in the company, so it's more of a rip-off of that then the Tarantula.

The ending of the show really got to me with Cena putting the belt down on Eddie's shirt. What a classy thing to do. I was crying a river. :(

Wow, what a show last night. I was crying on a d off for two hours. When it came on and I saw Big Show bawling and Benoit hunched over I lost it. My face was quivering and my head ached and spun. The music video was a great tribute. The speeches (epscially chavo, tista, and benoit, and trips as well) got to me. Stephs was nice and it made me think of on the eddy dvd, where on an extra he mentioned about when he dislocated his elbow in his first wwe match, the mcmahon family was at the hospital all night with him. Eddy was amazed by the classiness of his brand new employers. And seeing Vince, I can sense that this death bothers him a lot and that he indeed does care about his employees (espcially Eddy).

The matches were a fun distraction, though I had a hard time paying attention. The angle-shelton match pulled me back in, as did HBK-Rey. I felt almost guilty to be watching it, you know. (these people go out to perform for us fans and put all that strain on their bodies and personal lives)

Truth be told I have been feeling pretty depressed the last two days. I haven't been this bad since my uncle died last year (though obviously a different feeling for family--but the wrestlers feel like my family sometimes having watched them all of these years, yknow?)

I haved watched wrestling for a long time.

I watched RAW is Owen...and I shed a tear. I'm not one of those guys that jumped on the Owen bandwagon after it was too late...he JUST started entertaining me at the time of his death.

I'm a father...I've been divorced and have had close, young family members die. It's usually occassions like that in which I will cry.

"I hurt myself..today..." and that was it. I don't know if I want to remember this show or not. Because through the whole video, both times, I cried. When I saw Benoit, who I could generally care less about, I cried. When I saw HHH, I cried. When I saw Big Show, Chavo and Angle, I cried.

What a terrible night.

RIP Eddy
