Ja Rule to release Greatest hits

Recommended Posts

Despite Murder Inc's recent legal troubles, Ja Rule is preparing to return to the racks with Exodus, a greatest hits set.

According to billboard.com, The Inc./Def Jam compilation will include three new tracks as well as Ja Rule favorites like "Holla Holla," "Clap Back" and the R. Kelly and Ashanti-guested "Wonderful."

The album will mark the first Inc. release since Ashanti's Concrete Rose in 2004.

The label, founded by brothers Irv and Chris Gotti, has been in the news lately for its upcoming money laundering trial.

Since R.U.L.E. was his best album in a long time (though I do feel "Bloody in My Eye" was very underrated) I'm eager to hear the new tracks.

Say what you will about Ja, but he's leagues above 50 Cent. Also I currently have Race Against Time II stuck in my head, so my judgement might be clouded. For my Public Speaking class, were suppose to give a speech about someone from the media. A friend and I decieded to choose our topics (He choose mine, I choose his) I have Ja Rule. However he has to give his on Kane Hodder (Jason).

Could you post a transcript of your speech on Ja?

I don't have to give it till next week, but after I write it I will.

Shit. Forgot, My notes are on the school server, so I should be able to post it tommorow. Be forewarned it's not word for word the speech, just the outline. Also, I just plain make shit up, a couple of times. But thats okay I got an A- on it. It would have been an A, but saying 50 Cent when I meant to say Ja Rule and having to correct myself. As if you cared. Long story short, tommorow it will be posted.

my biggest problem with Ja Rule is that he took the weakest, IMO, aspects of "Rule 3:36" and decided to go with that style on a regualr basis rather than sticking with the elements that made him really hot in "Venni Vetti Veci", which is the only album of his I still own, the rest have been sold off since.

I, myself, feel that "R.U.L.E." is best album, "Blood in My Eye" is a cloooose second. "Venni Vetti Veci", is very good but I think he got better as he went, with a few missteps. The song of his, I listen to most has got to be "Race Against Time II"
