Well, I'm glad Smackdown finally prevailed over RAW on a big show after having to put up with that bullshit for the past couple of years. I didn't think they would win.

 

The PPV was pretty crappy overall, really disappointing to know considering it IS Survivor Series, but I did enjoy the title match and main event. I was really really hoping Cena would get screwed over, but alas WWE doesn't listen to the fans.

 

I'm not so sure about Angle...hasn't every one of his face runs bombed?

 

I didn't think so, I'm sure a lot of fans appreciated him being the American hero.

I'm telling you, by March Van Dam will be the most over face on the Raw roster. Whether they actually push him or not is debatable.

 

I don't think the crowd is responding well to Cena because what does he really DO in the ring that warrants a seriously long title reign? He doesn't really have anything that can put major opponents down for a 3 count enough to warrant this sort of title run.

I'm in agreement that Angle could be the top guy and just stay the monster that he is now...I'm not sure what Vince expects us to do when you put a guy out there that is just a badass and has great matches every night...boo? Hey Vince...you tried this with Austin in 1996 and remember what happened? $$$$...1996-1998 almost had no clear cut heels and faces in the top of the card...fans cheered and boo'd all the top guys from Nash, Bret , Austin and HBK....a bunch of tweeners running crazy right now couldn't hurt as from the last few months the Raw and SD! teams have been basically doing just that...I mean Batista seems like the only guy who hasn't cheat shotted(not a real word) somebody...even Rey got in some kicks during the lumber jack match...so give Angle the belt already...

I agree with this. Times were good when Diesel was a dick but would get cheered and at times play to the crowd. Same with Bret, Austin, Shamrock, Rock, Mankind and others. IT doesn't have to be black and white all the time. I say let the fans choose who to boo and cheer.

Since fans have been turning against Cena in just about every PPV match, I think the smart thing to do would be to have him against a face at WM, not a heel. If the main event is HHH vs Cena, they'll both get booed.

You could say the same thing about Hogan's legdrop...or Rock's elbow drop. Those are probably two of the most simplest, undevastating finishers in the history of the business & they're both huge stars.
