And for the "white was cool?" crowd...you can pretty much look at the early 90s and almost any time before and 90% of "cool" media figures were white. Whites are wicked lame nowadays though because most suburban white kids go the "fuck I've had a hard life but I've toughed it out because I'm a tough S.O.B." route that is ridiculously retarded for obvious reasons. I have a running joke with my Italian friends that they're not as white as the rest of Europe, and my joke carried over into my message boarding.
