Damaramu Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 They're going to need to stop them now and get the ball back to even have any prayer of winning this game.
mike546 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I don't like that decision. What says USC won't go down and score again and again and again?
Urban Warfare Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I would have went for it, but I can understand taking the FG and going within a score. Now Texas NEEDS a stop.
naiwf Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I don't like that decision. What says USC won't go down and score again and again and again? I think it was a bad move too, even if USC stopped them it's better to be down 8 and show some confidence in the offense than trail by 5 and still need a stop and a TD to take the lead anyway. Ah well, LenDale will just shove the ball down their throats put 'em up 12 and end the game on this next drive.
Urban Warfare Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 It would have been an even worse move if they had went for it and got stopped. At least now, a touchdown puts them ahead.
naiwf Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 It would have been an even worse move if they had went for it and got stopped. At least now, a touchdown puts them ahead. But you say that knowing now that the kicker made the field goal. There was no guarantee there.
Bored Posted January 5, 2006 Author Report Posted January 5, 2006 Oh wow that could bury Texas, big pass play and a roughing the passer.
Urban Warfare Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Good point. Texas makes a bad play, worse defense, big gain for SC.
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 That's a back-breaker right there. The way USC is going, it'll be elementary for them to put it in from there.
Bored Posted January 5, 2006 Author Report Posted January 5, 2006 Great effort by Jarrett, what a half by Leinart.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Well game over you fucking fags from Texas.
UZI Suicide Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Dwayne Jarrett rules. Plus, a black guy named Jarrett is always rare, which adds to his coolness.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Oh well even if Texas loses they proved USC isn't this all-time monster that can defeat anything that moves in football. And they proved that Reggie Bush is human. Fucking pussies at Texas though.
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Two texas players hurt. And I'm sticking by my original statement, IF USC wins this game, It's because of Leinart, not Bush. Sure, White is doing very well too, but I'd still say they win because Matt Leinart makes the difference.
therealworldschampion Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Well game over you fucking fags from Texas. Louis Gossett Jr. said in An Officer In A Gentleman, "There's only two things that come out of Oklahoma....steers and queers."
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 No more FGs for Texas. They need two TDs now, nothing else.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 God damn you Texas faggots. I should've known better than to put any hope in fucking Texas.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Oh well even if Texas loses they proved USC isn't this all-time monster that can defeat anything that moves in football. And they proved that Reggie Bush is human. Fucking pussies at Texas though. Umm, if USC wins then didn't they defeat anything that moves in football? Lots of teams have played close with USC, beating them is a different story. Texas didn't prove shit if they lose. They'll just be another notch on the bedpost.
Urban Warfare Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 If they don't score within 2 minutes of this upcoming drive, this game is done.
therealworldschampion Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I believe I mentioned before that I saw Dwayne Jarrett play when he was in high school, and that he was basically Mike Williams with speed.
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Damaramu, If Texas loses, how in any way do they prove your first point? Just because they don't lose by 36 points doesn't mean they weren't beatten.

Just because they don't lose by 36 points doesn't mean they weren't beatten. Well everyone was predicting this huge USC blowout and acting like they'd crush anything that moves. That was proven not true.
