Then when he posts, people might not recognise the name and think he's new, but not hassle him much cos they see the old join date. Simple as that. I only really joined last week, but used my delorian to make it look like i joined 3 and a half years ago.

Back in my day, we just called that hazing, and everything was fine. Until CWM accidentally killed a n00b and Dames cracked down on that kind of stuff. Now, you can't even force a new pledge/poster to spell-check his stuff without some kind of backlash from the mod staff. Also, back in my day, we walked ten miles both ways to post. Uphill. In the snow. Though in Dave's day, you had to fight dinosaurs as well.
