Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 You know, this wouldn't be so bad if we had our 1st round pick. Pick Adam Morrison and bam, we're back in business. It all makes it much worse that our only pick in the 1st round comes from the... Spurs.
mike546 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 That just gives us another scorer who can't play D.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 Well, atleast he tries on D. And we do need a SF badly. Well him or Rudy Gay, take your pick.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 Pacers beat the Clippers 97-75. Pacers are 5-1 since Artest last played.
Guest Report post Posted December 22, 2005 There's the inevitable Clipper downslide. They're gonna fall and fall hard.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 Jermaine O'Neal has got to get some serious MVP consideration should the Pacers end up putting up 50+ wins again. "He plays in the East" is no longer a valid excuse.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 22, 2005 There's the inevitable Clipper downslide. They're gonna fall and fall hard. This happens just about every other year. We hear about "OMG THE CLIPPERS ARE PLAYING WELL THEY'RE GONNA MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!" then they fade into obscurity by January or even go up till the All-Star Break before playing their traditional spoiler role. OMG THE CLIPPERS ARE DOOMED They have lost 5 out of 6, with three of those loses being to the Pistons, Pacers and Spurs. They have played the last 8 games without their second leading scorer Corey Maggette After the Bobcats game on Friday they have seven straight home games where they are 10-2 this season. Yeah they are done
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2005 That game was also a lot closer than the score would indicate. The Pacers closed on an 18-1 run. Regardless, I wouldn't put the Pacers on the same level as the Pistons or Spurs right now.

Guest Report post Posted December 22, 2005 Nothing indicates to me that they won't hit that usual big slide. So what that they have Sam Cassell and that Elton Brand's playing well? Elton plays well every season and nothing happens to that team. Maggette's complaining about playing time, Quentin Ross is out, and Wilcox has played like trash. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2005 Does anyone know who's playing the second game on Christmas Day? You'd think ESPN would mentioned it in passing. Instead it's Spurs this..Pistons that.

Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2005 Crap maybe now the Clippers are doomed. Maggette is out for 4 weeks Get Walsh on the phone and lets make a tree way deal with the Pacers and hawks to get Artest.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2005 Isiah was supposedly set to do a Hardaway for Jalen Rose deal, but James Dolan stepped in and nixed it.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 I think Isiah would have only made the trade if they got Denver's pick. If they weren't getting Denver's pick, a job well done Dolan.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 Hawks just win a hell of a game against Philly. So yeah, i guess I was right. That win against San Antonio was the one that taught them how to play. And you know that block that Prince had on Reggie Miller and how incredible of a defensive play that was? Josh Smith gets about 2 of those spectacular defesnsive plays that come at the best time possible a game. I mean, his line tonight, 8 points, 7 boards, 4 blocks might not look that impressive, but they were 4 of the biggest blocks ever seen. To me he is hands down the most impressive shot blocker in the league.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 (edited) HUGE games for the Clippers big men tonight Brand with 38 points and 20 rebounds Kaman with 22 points and 22 rebounds Clips win 97-88 over the Bobcats EDIT: First time since 86 that two teammates get 20 rebounds in a game and only the fifth team since the NBA/ABA merger Edited December 24, 2005 by Kurt Angle Mark
