The thing is everyone says "well if you really need a wrestling fix watch TNA". The problem with that is TNA is only a 1 hr show. That's filled with jobber squashes, and is even more boring and uneventful than your usual Raw. Plus, TNA has the same problems that WWE has, but it's ok, because... they're like not-WWE!!1 JOE GUNNA KILL U!

Edited for accuracy.

I only watch RAW because it's been a habit to watch wrestling at 9pm on Monday since I was a very little kid. I don't watch Smackdown, any of the web shows, or PPVs anymore. I DO have a subscription to WWE 24/7 Online because it's mostly old footage and the only DVDs I'll pick up is bios or features on stuff I liked (ECW).

But the product is really getting me out of the habit of watching RAW. If it's on, it's usually just on in the background while I do something else.

Why do any of you still watch this shit?

For me it's habitual nowadays. I just love the whole subculture of it all, too. I've lived with it for so long and followed it so closely...so I know no matter how bad it gets, I'll never stop following the product. There's always bound to be a better run of days ahead.

The one indy show I've gone to, which showcased Chris Sabin vs. Jimmy Jacobs (good oldschool kinda match), boasted a fat goofy kid wearing a OMFG! HULK STIIIILLLLLL RULES jersey. That is not my idea of "fun fans".

On the other hand, during a Sabin induced fan chop fest on the outside, some old lady stiffed Jacobs, and everyone but him laughed uproariously.

Do you ever see marks type with excessive periods.

No.

Judging from your posts, I'd say your periods are quite excessive.

I've never met a group of wrestling fans that were "awesome".

Go to an indy show. Fun fans there.

I've been to an ROH show.

I guess guys in their 20's who look like they haven't showered in a month, and smell like nachos... is an improvement over annoying snotty brats that like WWE.

Guest Jim Ross

Jim Ross summed it up nicely tonight on a Best of Raw type show here in the UK.

He said 'There are people out there watching the product today and thinking 'This isnt the wrestling I grew up watching'" .... JR continued by saying "EXACTLY, And we dont want it to be"
