Yeah, we'll have our usual boring staredown the whole time during the Big Show/HHH contract signing for 7-10 minutes too long. Either that, or HHH bloodies Big Show and makes him sign the contract in his own blood ala the Hogan/Vince contract signing during their feud almost three years ago.

WWE.com has an article up featuring a quote from Dick Cheney where he says he wish he visited Afghanistan at the same time as WWE so he could have met Vince McMahon.

 

 

WWE does plan to continue the Tim White angle on TV, meaning he isn't dead in the story yet. Vince McMahon apparently considers the story to be "dark humor."

I remember the "Beat the Clock" show they did last year being pretty good.

This is weird because the preview I read at 10am this morning had no mention of HBK at all, but this was psoted at 11am.

Yeah that was awesome. The whole show was really good, the story behind the matches was simple...and put the focus on the MATCH, not the story. Plus it guarentees us 6 matches

 

Which makes me wonder...if the WWE had 6 actual matches (or more even) on every card and kept the stupid angles to a minimum and made their storylines tie in with the matches better (Tournaments, Beat the clock, actual 'rankings' to determine contenders) they could really put out a decent product...

Well, at least this time WWE was kind enough to warn us that McMahon was going to do a tasteless, stupid angle that gets no one over but himself and doesn't mean anything other than to piss off an already angry fanbase.

 

Really, like anyone doesn't see that DVD review being turned into a heat magnet for McMahon. I hope that Michaels took himself out of this by principle (yeah, I don't believe it either). Like it's Bret's fault he can never wrestle again and get "revenge," so Vince'll keep teasing the match that will never happen untill the day he dies. Or Eddie's fault that he died in a hotel room, so Vince'll destroy the last attachment the fans had to Eddie to get Orton over. Or Tim White "killing" himself to put over the Heck in a Cell. Or JR's fault getting cancer and not leaving for the relaunch on USA (which was because of stupidity from upstairs), so now McMahon has an excuse to play surgeon, and try to embarrass his number 1 star of all-time, again. Or Gordy's fault he died, so now Edge can beat up Michael Hayes and mock him.

 

Ugh, I made myself sick just reading that. I honestly don't remember a TV show preview that actually made me feel ill. Ever.

Since Bret Hart's DVD came out last month, and they're just now giving a review of it, I think the segment will be a lead-in to some angle..Or Bret Hart will be made the new GM.

I saw a commercial earlier in the week for RAW on Monday that said Kurt Angle had a "HUGE" announcement to make on RAW, but there's no mention of it in the RAW Preview.

Im willing to give Vince the benefit of the doubt on the Bret dvd review...he changed the dvd set in the first place to be a positive piece, so maybe the Monday Night angle wont be entirely tasteless...its doubtful itll be good though.

Isn't the new GM supposed to be announced on Monday? I swear they were talking about that on this past Raw. Sans with the Angle announcement that was actually an entire commericial in itself on Monday. How they can flip flop and have this little direction (assuming both of those things are now dropped for Monday) is pretty bad.

 

This stuff about the Bret DVD is out of nowhere too. There HAS to be some point to it other than just having Vince commenting on it.
