By the way, I agree completely; we can't cut the page count. I'll make sure we keep this issue at 36 pages without raising the price. The fans have been great to us, and it's a nice way to thank them for joining this wild ride.

Hells yeah.

I litterally sprayed my moniter with Lemonade when I saw those covers. Damn. I may have to buy both. Stupid artwork always takin' my money.

I happened to stroll over to the DC comics message board to see what others thought of the series. From what I gathered was that they don't like the series and says that it is too confusing.

Has anyone else found this series confusing for you? I have not had trouble following the series. Also at this point do you like the series or don't you?

I definitely like the series and don't find it confusing at all. There have been some swerves that caught me off guard, and some unsolved mysteries that I didn't know the answers to right away, but that's just good storytelling.

The DC comics message board is filled with complete dumbasses. There also seems to be an ironically high number of Marvel marks there as well. Don't bother reading it.

I love this series thus far, it's been a huge success.

I don't think it's confusing at all, sure it's dense, and if you skim it you might be confused, but they've done a great job of making it all make sense. Hell, they explained all of the multiverse/Crisis on Infinite Earths stuff in like 4 pages in issue 2.

Ho-Ly-Shit!! This is the first time in a LONG time that I've been tempted to buy two different covers for the same issue of a comic.

Last time I followed the sales charts, X-Men was #1 every month.

Wow, man, it seems like that was ages ago when both Uncanny and (New) X-Men ruled the world. Now Marvel's best-selling regular series is New Avengers and has been that way since #1 came out, trumping previous champ The Ultimates.

You can also follow the sales charts on Wizard magazine and diamondcomics.com, although the Newsarama articles have in-depth analysis and actual sales figures.

Allstar Batman and Robin was #1 back in the days of yore when it was getting put out, right?

Either way it sucked.

DC's doing quite well IDentity Crisis did well, OMAC and Villains UNited did well. (Days of Vengeance should have done better it was fun) Rann Thanagar didn't do to well, IIRC, but then I didn't like it. And of course I think Identity Crisis will spurn new interest in the OYL comics. I've already bought, like, 6. Bring on Secret Six and Shadowpact!

Alright, Infinite Crisis #7 Body Count Predictions: Who do you think is gonna die in the next issue? Off the top of my head the only one I'm calling is Arsenal (Roy Harper), if only because I haven't heard anything of him in the new Titans or Outsiders stuff.

Any others?

Yeah, ASB was #1 a couple times (issue 4 comes out next week, I'm super psyched and I know you guys are too~!) and so was Justice. The OYL titles have been selling out like mad, which more than anything means that the retailers were under-ordering them. It's hard to tell success from the sales charts since they're based on a wierd indexing system and are based on orders not sales. Plus they don't take into account subscriptions or book store sales. And supposedly DC makes some nice coin from graphic novel sales in bookstores. Watchmen, DKR, and Sandman still rake in some serious money from what I hear. Plus stuff like licensing, merchendise, and operating costs are huge factors in a company's success. Remember, Marvel went bankrupt in the 90s, and they were still selling comics.

The good news is that there's been very nice growth over previous years lately, so it seems things are rebounding. Still, 200,000 copies (like IC#6) would not make anything near a top seller in previous times.

That's a good point about Arsenal. I'm going to bet something happens with Wonder Woman, have they confirmed whether it's Diana as WW in the new series?

Yeah, and I really don't want him to die. With Beetle dead, there's a smart-ass vacuum that can only get worse with his death.

Others I see dying:

At least one of the bigger Green Lanterns, maybe Guy (

Just judging from the other page, one of them is going to have to bite it instead of Hal

)

Shift: Metamorpho is now part of the Outsiders, plus this character has no real connection to the team anymore (With the death of Indigo), so he's pretty expendable.

Guardian: Being right next to Doomsday is NOT the best place to be right now.

The Atom (Ray Palmer): One last hurrah, coming back and being a hero in the fight against Doomsday and the rest of the villains. This sets up the new Atom series.

I'll add more as I can think of them.

Who is going to die in issue number #7?

To be honest I thnk that Arsenal is a good choice as well as Jessie Quick.

My longshot special is the Eradicator. Don't know why but I have a feeling. Also I would like to see Black Zero show up. I think he was an evil clone of Superboy from another dimension. For some reason I think it would be a good tease to throw in there.

With issue 2 of the new Blue Beetle series we find out its taking place OYL, so Guys still around by the look of it. Also I heard a rumour the Arsenals turning up in the new Checkmate series, but not sure if thats true or not

Oh, and I have a feeling Stripes may bite the bullet

Well that would explain why Stargirl was buying school books with Mr. Terrific instead of Duggan in JSA at the start of OYL.

I'm not sure which parts of that book actually take place OYL. To me, the whole thing read like it was taking place during or slightly after IC, despite what the cover says.

I was a little confused by it.....I think it's because I didn't read a lot of DC comics before. So I'm a little lost as to who some of the characters are and what's going on.

It's still good, though.
