2005: How was your year?

Recommended Posts

Yes, very intense.

I could still go to Iraq if I opted to, I think. Not 100% sure though. But, I'll likely get medically seperated. :(

I've been called many times by Army recruiters recently, and I'm not really medically able to go into the military (stomach problems), and I don't really have the heart to tell them that. I usually tell them that my schedule's booked up, take their number and never call them back.

If it bothers you them calling, tell them. They won't call you anymore, unless you like the attention ;)

I don't really have a problem with it, actually, I think it's good of them that they would call me asking if I would like to serve my country It lets me know that the military is always thinking about the future.

Usually years ending with odd numbers are bad for me, but this year was pretty good, but nothing outstanding or groundbreaking for me like last year (graduation, first job). My biggest experience of 2005 was going to see Episode III at midnight, which is something I had never done before.

Havent got those calls since I was just out of high school about 5 years ago.

anyhow, the year has been pretty blah for me.

My grandmother had visited us for the holidays from nov-jan, then went homeand had three heart attacks within a week . my other grandma just had a bad stroke and is not doing well

Having to move back to NY soon (well the process actually, its rough to seel your stuff and try to pack your fav things)

as for me, nothing of note, still unemployed, still don't have a car, still single, still boring :D

But I can't complain

as for sports/Tv/enterainment

Yanks had a rough season, then blew it in the first round

Giants had a surprisingly good season, despite their many flaws

WWE was kinda lame, We lost Candido and Eddy

Well at least Family Guy came back and American Dad premiered

House Still rules and Bones is almost as good to me

The IWC still complains too much

Just another year

Laugh all you want.

I don't give a shit.

Surely something more eventful happened in your life than going to a movie. Kissing a girl? Seeing a shooting star? Hearing a child's laughter? Something!?!

You know...you're right. You're absolutely right.

In 2005, I found this catchy little YTMND page for the Picard song.

It was truely life changing.

Captain Jean Luc Picard....U-S-S Enterprise.

ENGAGE!

Got a promotion in January

Watching my daughter (born Nov. 04) grow too damn fast

Went to Alaska over the summer

Arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder in September

In October started to suddenly have to deal with a lot of shit from my past caught up to me...but in the process became closer to my best friend and a couple of her friends.

Most of the year decent...grade-wise 2005 gets a B minus. :)

The first nine days of this year have already surpassed in terms of shittiness of last year. Even numbered years tend to suck balls.

+ Moved to Las Vegas.

+ Made some great friends.

- Had to leave my woman and my son in Alaska.

+ Reconciled with the woman.

+ Got a new radio show on www.lvrocks.com (Miami Ice, Thurs. 8 -10 Pacific)

+ Shared a locker room with Sabu.

- My woman left me for another man a couple days before Christmas.

In terms of goals in life, I had a great year in terms of getting the ball rolling. Personally, December '05 was probably the worst month of my entire life.

I give 2005 a C.

My 2005 was okay. Graduated from high school and moved to Ottawa. Nothing major happened, other than that.

2004 was the best year I've had, and 2003 was the worst.
