Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Was the content suddenly considered bad? Or are we trying to avoid late voting?
JHawk Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 It's probably to prohibit late voting (or late editing), but you have to admit it's kind of a morbid contest.
Sideburnious Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Dang, just when i had my list ready
GreatWhiteNope Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Seconding the "what the hell?" reaction. As of last year, I just told anyone posting picks after the cutoff date that they weren't eligible - so I don't know why a mod closed the thread. If someone reopens the thread, could you pin it at the top of General Chat in place of the 2005 contest.
Nighthawk Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah, the scores will have to be updated, you know.
Guest Leelee Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I was wondering why it was closed... Well, you can just make a new thread for scores, and updates, and such.
NYU Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah, can someone take care of this? It's still closed.
Guest Leelee Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Yes. One of you reopen the thread, please.
Sideburnious Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Dang, just when I had forgotten my list.
Guest Brian Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 I meant to lock it from the deadline until the first, then re-open and pin it. The pinning is now done.
