Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 So one of the ideas that's been discussed lately was to lessen the amount of mods who have access to this folder. I'm cool with that if everyone else is, as maybe some element of surprise could be one of the things to get things turning around for the better (well, not that things are bad, but you know what I mean). Anyways, my choices/suggestions for the few mods for GCF would be...::drumroll:: Zack Malibu Tony149 Nice Guy Adam (as long as he continues to help with PPV's and HeldDOWN) ...and PK would be the forth, but there's no need to "make" him an OAOAST mod since he can see it anyways. Same for CC when she has things to submit. This would remove Popick, KC, Eski, Patty, and Chuck from the "mod roster". Let me know what you think, and if it works. Stephen Joseph 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 I am coo w/ not being a mod, though I will be very sad. I believe that whoever is World Champion should automatically be a mod (works for PK's case). I also believe that the World Champion's modship should end after they're done with the title (for example, after their rematch, like in my case, because they can work in a thread with the world champion to finish up a story, then theyre demodded). I also think Zack Malibu is a horrible person who never calls back his e-fed friends. And he wets his bed. And cries to his mommy. And puts up with obnoxious assholes like me. I also think that if we do demodding, we should have a demodding party. But yeah, I am coo wit it dawg.
Mystery Eskimo 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 Well, I'm still not convinced that having a lot of mods is a problem, and I'd like to keep mine. But if its something that the majority thinks is necessary, I won't complain...much...
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 I don't care either way personally, I just figure it's open for discussion. If you want more "surprise", then we can lessen the mod amount. Or just post less in this folder.
Tony149 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 The best way to keep twist and turns and whatnot a surprise is not to talk about it here but rather via PM. I also propose we create a General Chat type folder for OAOASTers using the currently wasted OAOAST sub-folder. There we can talk about wrestling, life (a/k/a Midnight at Malibu's), entertainment, etc.

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 To be honest, I can live without being a mod. I've no problem being de-modded. BUT, impartially, I think it'd make more sense if we had Zack (head honcho), Tony (head of the Tag Division) and Me ('head' of the Women's Division) and then those who can already get in like PK and CC. CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 I agree with KC. He does a shitload of women's stuff, and he is the head of the division. He should definately be a mod.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2006 (edited) I really don't think demodding people is really a problem, but I do agree with people using PM more often to talk about ideas if they want to keep it from everyone else. If you have to get someone else in on it, just PM them and not make a thread in GCF. Really, GCF should just be for people to post segments to be added into PPVs and HDs and for discussions about fed-wide things (like assigning writers for things like the Anderson Cup and the Rumble). Things between two or three people should be kept to AIMs and PMs. The "Outlining the Future" thread was good so that everyone could get on the same page after what happened with Hoff and NYU, but I'm of the belief that if something doesn't involve you or your character directly, then you shouldn't get involved (or if you have an idea about something, PM it to the right person) Edited January 5, 2006 by KingPK

I don't know about the whole mods issue. I don't mind having everyone here. It helps discussion. But I'm probably going to need to have access to a lot of this stuff in the future, with the stuff I want to do as GM. And I want to keep posting HD's in my holidays and PPV's bi-monthly. King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2006 If we want to do this properly a) We should vote on whether to streamline modships b) Anyone who doesn't mind being demodded or basically doesn't use the place (Chuck) should be dealt with first. c) We should vote on who should be mods. Or, go with the majority suggesstion that it should be Zack, Tony and the World Champion.
