Guest Smues Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I don't miss living in Seattle, but I do miss having it rain that much. Too bad they don't play on grass, it'd be a total mess.
Failed Bridge Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 first team to not go 3 and out wins
Guest Smues Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Dueling 3 and outs! I'm digging the defense on both sides.
Failed Bridge Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 looks more like shitty offenses than it does good defenses.
Hawkius Maximus Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Only thing keeping the Seahawks in this is their defense. I'm fearing the slow implosion that most of us were expecting. Edit: Annnnnd there we go.
Guest Brian Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 FUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Guest Smues Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Oh my god, a first down. I'd almost forgotten what that was.
Guest Smues Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Consecutive first downs? What alternate universe is this?
Hawkius Maximus Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I seriously think Seattle is somehow cursed. I honestly do. They give Shaun his first carry, he fumbles. He doesn't get anything on the next few, and then fucking gets a concussion. Darrell Jackson shows his skills...gets injured. If they meltdown again...God it's going to suck.
Guest Smues Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Boo points, so much for that 0-0 OT game I was wishing would happen.
snuffbox Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I knew the D's were good but its pretty surprising to see this game go 20 minutes before 3 points were scored.
Hawkius Maximus Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 ...FIrst down Seattle? Figures I leave the room and they DO something.
snuffbox Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Decent first half...some pretty good hits. Will Alexander try coming back?
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Fuck how many almost interceptions have the Redskins had by now??
iggymcfly Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Siragusa: The difference I see is that the Redskins are actually getting penetration now, and they're getting real pressure on Matt Hasselbeck. (Next play: Hasselbeck sits in the pocket for about 8 seconds before deciding to just walk in for the touchdown.) Nice call there Tony.
Failed Bridge Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 The Washington offensive play calling is so bland that its no surprise they can't do anything. I can't believe they aren't trying any screens with Portis.
Urban Warfare Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Seriously, the Redskins run that Portis pass play every week.
Failed Bridge Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 this game can't end fast enough
iggymcfly Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Brilliant decision by Gibbs going for it on 4th and 12 rather than kicking a 49 yard field goal that would make it a one possession game. Is the Redskins kicker really that bad?
Urban Warfare Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Harder to kick in the rain, I guess.
Failed Bridge Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 Redskins kicker is old man John Hall. He can't get it from that distance. I would have had Brunell pooch punt.
Special K Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 YEAH laugh it up when a bullshit penalty is called late in a playoff game, you fucking cocksuckers.
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Good, I didn't want to see Seattle run away with this one. I'm rooting for all the road teams this weekend anyways.
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Yeah, see that's why they didn't try the 49-yarder earlier
iggymcfly Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Yeah, now I understand. That was fugly.
Special K Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Run away with this one? As in get lucky? If people call this a lucky win, after Shaun and D Jax got injured, they can just go and fuck themselves.
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 No, run away with this one as in toying with the Skins at first only to blow them out in the 4th quarter. Which is what's slowwwwlly happening now. I'm surprised Mack Strong's going to his first Pro Bowl this year. That guy's been a great, consistent fullback for years now.
iggymcfly Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Seahawks cover! Yes! I was scared to death that there was going to be PI called on that last play, but on the replay, it did look pretty clean.
