My fondest most happy memories of the past 5 years are all at Wrestlemania X-7. I have NEVER EVER been more satisfied following a PPV than I was watching this. I felt like every penny I spent on this was worth it.

Edit: 800 Posts YEA!!!!!!!!

I've generally been happy with every Survivor Series and Royal Rumble event since 2001 (2000 for the Rumble) but I'm more or less a mark for those events.

My top five... and this is putting minimal thought into it and it could change any day... WrestleMania 17, SummerSlam 2002, WrestleMania 19, Vengeance 2003, and WrestleMania XX.

Almost every single show in 2001 was pretty good.

I can't remember a *good* PPV in 2002.

03 was Mania and Vengeance

04 was Rumble, Mania, Backlash and Summerslam

05 Mania and Vengeance

Summerslam?

I was monumentally disappointed in almost every match on that show, except for HHH/HBK which beat expectations. Angle Rey was good, not great, Benoit/RVD let me down, Jericho/Flair was a letdown and Rock/Brock just didn't do it for me.

Survivor Series 2002 was pretty entertaining.

One match show. The tag match was good, if overdone to death at that point, and the Chamber was really only okay. Its made to look much better now because of Jericho, the hot finish and the three subsequent Chambers sucked so hard.

1. Wrestlemania X-7- Probably the best PPV the WWF ever put out. Great card from top to bottom.

2. Summerslam 2002- Loved this show. There were lots of solid matches, but HHH/HBK really made the show. From a dramatic standpoint, I'd say this is the best match in WWF/WWE history.

3. Vengeance 2003- Really solid card from top to bottom. The triple threat match was awesome, and the TWGTT/Filthy Animals match was about as good of undercard match as you can have.

4. No Mercy 2002- I'd say that this was the last HIAC match that actually meant something, and the tag team title match represented the absolute peak of the Smackdown Six days as well. Very good card.

Yeah, that's about all that really sticks out as meaningful. WM X-8 was pretty good at the time, and Summerslam 2001 should be up there too, but those were the four shows that still seem really memorable.

It helps that this was their first match, way before it'd been done to death. WWE could fill a DVD with the matches from these two.

As much as I hated 02 overall, I loved that year's Summerslam. In fact, I think that was probably my all-time favorite Summerslam.

Other than that, Mania XIX was pretty good and ONS had me marking like a madman so that gets a mention. I'd list X7, but the fact that I didn't see it live took away a lot of the show's luster for me.
