Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 9, 2006 The look at Monty Brown. A large black man purported to be from Africa displays limited intelligence and even more limited wrestling knowledge. Tell me thats not somewhat racist
Downhome 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2006 I did - sort of. - Cage, Monty and Samoa Joe won't ever get the NWA Title while Jarrett is around. - The push of Ron Killings, the booking of Monty Brown and the Harris Twits existance seem to indicate racist overtones in the office. - I think most of the XDivision guys are bland interchangeable and expendable More later, if I have a think That's all of your TNA thoughts? Surely there is moe, since you post so much in this folder. Go on...

Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2006 So do I. Statement. If you threw Chris Daniels vs. AJ Styles for half an hour onto a WWE PPV - the crowd would shit all over it. WWE Fans aren't conditioned for it. Stuff like that is why you can't be a fan of both I am a fan of both. Because I am a fan of worked, fake fighting, which is what both WWE and TNA present. Both have their good and bad qualities. I take the good with the oversided bad in both cases. I also am a fan of Lucha and Puroresu, which are vastly different than both TNA and WWE. Man, you are something else.
Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 10, 2006 -The promotion has racist overtones -The promotion pushed the wrong people You know these thing apply to WWE. Well that's their problem. You asked me what my problem with TNA was. I am a fan of both. Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 10, 2006 If you support Jarrett's PROMOTION - Ignore the booking, the workers, all that - you're not a fan of the WWE. That's what it comes down to.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 If someone likes even one thing in WWE or TNA, are they unable to be a fan of the other promotion?
Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 10, 2006 If you like the PROMOTION! For god's sake will you read my post. The promotion only exists because the WWE never made Jeff Jarrett a main eventer six years ago and he's bitter about it - so he created his own promotion to suit himself. If Jarrett had his way there'd be no Austin, Rock, or HHH - and if you like THAT - You're not a WWE Fan
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 I tried reading your posts but my brain melted from the idiocy they contained. The idea that you can't like WWE or TNA if you like the other is beyond stupid.
Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Not to me. Loyalty to a product means something - and that means not supporting some hack who runs show out of a themepark because Vince McMahon wouldn't let him play with the big boys
Guest Report post Posted February 10, 2006 If you hate TNA, why don't you stay out of this little folder? That doesn't sound so hard.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 TNA has wrestlers I enjoy watching like AJ, Daniels, Joe, Christian etc. I don't like Jarrett but I enjoy the promotion he runs. Just like there are things about WWE I don't like, but I enjoy it for the most part, and I like the promotion. ROH and WWE are mostly vastly different, and I enjoy both. It's okay to like two wrestling promotions.
Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Case In Point: You're a hypocrite if you criticise the WWE for their weekly dose of shitting on Eddie Guerrero, but if you Praised TNA'S Funeral Home Skit - I can't see how you're a fan of both promotions And I could really care less about ROH. The reason I post here? I give a shot about the talent thats rotting in TNA under the thumb of Jeff Leonard Jarrett
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 What if you disliked both skits? And how come you seem to readily accept Jeff Jarrett having political power in TNA, and yet deny Triple H having political power in WWE?
Guest Report post Posted February 10, 2006 There's no proof. Whatever that means. What about the talent rotting under the thumb of Vince McMahon? Do you see a problem with that?
Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Jarrett sort of owns the promotion. And yeah, if you hate both, Bully For You. You're missing some great stuff on Smackdown though. And as for talent being "held down" under Vince - I assume you mean the Human Pinballs, Spanky and London, and the rest of the Velocity Crew? Not my fault they wanted job security a decent wage and permission to do three moves. I mean guys like Samoa Joe or Monty Brown - both credible World Champions ....... if Jarrett was far, far away
Guest Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Regarding Monty Brown, didn't you say this? The look at Monty Brown. A large black man purported to be from Africa displays limited intelligence and even more limited wrestling knowledge. That's a credible champion? I think he is, but now you can try to defend it. And Vince McMahon sort of owns WWE.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 If Jarrett owning the promotion means he has political power, does that mean Hunter has political power for being the son-in-law of Vince McMahon and being married to the head writer? And if so, does the mean Hunter has a lot of pull as well?
Guest netslob Report post Posted February 10, 2006 his middle name is Leonard?

A large black man purported to be from Africa displays limited intelligence and even more limited wrestling knowledge. That's a credible champion? I think he is, but now you can try to defend it. That was an attack on TNA'S Racism. Current booking suggests Monty would be a great champion - but he won't be while Jarrett is there. And Vince McMahon sort of owns WWE. I dont see Vince paying Sting 500k a year (while stiffing Samoa Joe on pay) to job to him If Jarrett owning the promotion means he has political power, does that mean Hunter has political power for being the son-in-law of Vince McMahon and being married to the head writer? And if so, does the mean Hunter has a lot of pull as well? I could care less. The WWE isn't burying anyone I like his middle name is Leonard? :lol Bob Barnett thinks even less of it
RedJed 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 Wow the proverbial hole in this thread just keeps getting deeper and deeper....this is going nowhere with DH. Saying you can't be a fan of both promotions just because you may have enjoyed a storyline segment on TNA that was not based off any "real" event or death and then to not personally enjoy the way Vince wont stop with the Guerrero issue (WWE fan or not, how can anyone condone it - if ANY COMPANY did this to apparently "pay tribute" to one of their deceased workers, it would be equally bad) are two completely NON-RELATED incidents that have no correlation to each other whatsoever. To think being a "fan" of a promotion is as cut and dry as that, well there is your ass showing more than ever. And you're hitting new ridiculous lows time after time. When can you stop already? It's not getting anywhere but in circles. I'm not even going to go there with the comment of putting Styles and Daniels for 30 minutes on a WWE ppv. If they could go and deliver, I dont care what wrestling crowd they would perform in front of, it would get over. Just like a match like, say, Angle v. Rey, would. So to recap, I've been a fan of WWE since the early to mid 80s and have probably spent an insane amount of $$$ on their live events, ppvs, merchandise, DVDs, etc, etc. Love the product when its on, still tolerate and view the product when its not and everything in between. Will give them credit when they deserve it and shit on things when they don't. I have also followed TNA since its inception and bought nearly every one of their weekly and monthly ppvs. Love the product when its on, still tolerate and view the product when its not and everything in between. Will give them credit when they deserve it and shit on things when they don't. But WAIT, I just cannot be a fan of both. Well then I pick WWE. Oh wait, now I better not praise TNA here (especially that god damn controversial and so disrespectful funeral angle for the Duds, my god the nerve of this company!!!) or else I'm a TNA fan exclusively huh? Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 I'm loyal to logic, which means I should hate DesperateHousewife. Hey, he's got a point! Sarcasm aside, regarding the whole racism deal... 1)The Harris Twins have not had an active role on TNA television or PPV's in a year or so. 2)TNA does not position Monty Brown as a man "with limited intelligence and ring skills purported to be from Africa". Brown's whole Alpha Male routine is semi-based on his intellect, not to mention that he says he HUNTS in the Serengetti. They acknowledge the man as a former NFL player, and the last time I checked that league didn't extend to deepest darkest Africa. Maybe you have Brown confused with Kamala in your warped mind. Guest Desperate Housewife Report post Posted February 11, 2006 They still put the Harris Twits on TV, wearing SS Shirts, AND THEN, let one of them refuse, on camera, to team with Ron Killings because he's one of "Their Kind"
