The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 No, it has to be with someone I love. I'm referring to eating Chinese food. Of course I'll triple-team a slut with you guys.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 For what it's worth...Conor Oberst is a pretty good live performer. And, out of the hundreds of bands Ive seen, hes the only guy Ive seen smash his guitar onstage (while drinking PBR no less). Fun times.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 All right. We're all set. You know, you'd think the dude would make enough money to afford a better beer.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 I think its was free beer....the show was at the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted February 4, 2006 Conversely, at Ohio Deathfest last year, re: the atrocious concessions, the vocalist from Circle of Dead Children said "This song goes out to $3.50 cans of PBR. What the fuck."
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2006 Vendors suck. At a fest like Bonnaroo at least there are plenty of unlicensed folks selling good stuff for cheap...but almost any other show, in most any venue, is just ridiculous. Other shitty examples - Tall can of Coors Light (flavored water) at the Gorge - 8$ (they do have free water though). Cup of ice water at the Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee - 4$. Fucking uncool. Bonnaroo though you can find a 5 pound turkey leg for 5 dollars (or, as Agent mentioned earlier, a fair trade). And water, even inside the Centeroo gates, is free. BX 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2006 It's be so weird to bump into nappy-haired Kotz at Bonnaroo. I'm gonna bother him too. Keep tapping him on the shoulder, and as he leaves to return to his tent, rape him behind Shakedown with a popcicle.
Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2006 Talk with me Spoon, we're allll going. Luke and everybody.
BX 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2006 There should be a TSM meeting a Bonnaroo. Everyone meet at the tiki hut between the cinema tent and the what tent at 9 p.m. on Thursday night. If Ultimo Dugas is reading this, meet us at one of the portajohns during Radiohead's set. If we arent there, don't worry, we'll find you. Just sit there until Radiohead is done playing. Trust meee. Ultimo Dugas 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2006 Haha. I only suggested that cause Kotz here lives like all of 20 minutes from me, and frankly we could use another car / driver / gas chipper-inner on this trip.

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2006 Radiohead's US 'tour' is only playing a few small venues and tickets will sell out in minutes (already have for some). snuffbox 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2006 We are proud to announce a very special late night performance. Dr. John will resurrect his Night Tripper persona for the first time in over three decades for his performance at Bonnaroo. Dr. John is universally celebrated as the living embodiment of the rich musical heritage exclusive to New Orleans. In the '60s, he developed the charismatic persona of Dr. John The Night Tripper. Adorned with voodoo charms and regalia, a legend was born with his breakthrough 1968 album Gris-gris, which established his unique blend of voodoo mysticism, funk, rhythm & blues, psychedelic rock, and Creole roots. The Night Tripper phase of Dr. John's career, featuring his unique fusion of Mardi Gras jubilation and spiritual mysticism marked, altered and broadened the scope of popular music forever. This special performance will be part of a New Orleans themed event that will also include Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk which features an all-star cast of some of the city's finest musicians. The Rebirth Brass Band will also join in, lending their celebratory brass band sound to what will be an unforgettable night. -bonnaroo e-mailing.
