Spaceman Spiff Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Bottom line, Gibson can work, can get over with the crowd and can carry the cruiserweight ranks if they let him and the others do what they can. Plus he can talk, which already puts him a leg up on almost every other cruiser.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 They're putting a non title match on PPV? What the fuck is this? WCW?
ChrisMWaters Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 You know, for some sick reason, I KINDA hoped it would be Jeff Hardy that was Matt's partner. Next to impossible, I know...but still.
Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 hmmm... i think it's time for a cigarette break.
Black Lushus Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 someone give some details on what's goin on so far.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 I think its kind of cool that Matt Hardy is such a loser that his only friend is Tatanka.
Repo Man jr Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 You know, for some sick reason, I KINDA hoped it would be Jeff Hardy that was Matt's partner. Next to impossible, I know...but still. I'm sure loads of people hoped that and they probably don't know who Tatanka is
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 The WWE just bait-and-switched a PPV title match involving a mystery person who turned out to be Tatanka. Re-read that sentence a few times.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 someone give some details on what's goin on so far. Helms won the Cruiserweight match JBL beat Lashley after Finlay intefered Dave came back and rambled. MNM vs. Hardy and the Man Who Ate Tatanka on now. Good show so far.
Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 why don't you get on yahoo lushus and i'll give em to ya
Spaceman Spiff Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 The WWE just bait-and-switched a PPV title match involving a mystery person who turned out to be Tatanka. Re-read that sentence a few times. Good, at least that means MNM get to keep the belts.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 This would be three PPV bait and switches in a row if all works out to WWE's plans. NYR: "Hey Cena fans! If Cena can survive 5 superstars, he'll leave WWE champion!" Rumble: "Whoever wins the Rumble gets a WM Main Event Title Match!" NWO: "Matt Hardy gets a tag team title shot!" And technically, WWE advertised the Mexicools as getting a WWE Tag Title shot at Armageddon. And also, they advertised Eddie Guerrero as part of Survivor Series. And also, they advertised Steve Austin as part of Taboo Tuesday.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Everytime they bring up how "great shape" Tatanka is in, the viewer must notice that he looks 300 pounds.
Black Lushus Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 someone give some details on what's goin on so far. JBL beat Lashley after Finlay intefered Good show so far. I don't understand WWE booking whatsoever...no I'm not a Lashley fan...I just don't get their booking, not for one minute. It doesn't surprise me that the show is good so far, Armageddon was pretty decent and Smackdown is the best wrestling show on national TV.

Fans get the impression that someone is being shoved down their throats.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Re: Lashley's Booking They realized he has a future and gets pops but is not ready for the God-push. So they jobbed him via interference to a former WWE Champion setting up a program where he can be made to look capable in the ring with Finlay, who he will go over.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Why did the yodeling leg drop become the yodeling elbow drop?
Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 tatanka pins mercury with a samoan drop
Black Lushus Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Re: Lashley's Booking They realized he has a future and gets pops but is not ready for the God-push. So they jobbed him via interference to a former WWE Champion setting up a program where he can be made to look capable in the ring with Finlay, who he will go over. here's what they did wrong: -jobbed him first in the Survivor Series match -made him Mark Henry's bitch in the World Title battle royal -unimpressive Rumble appearance -losing to a former champion that could have given him a decent rub -let him speak
Repo Man jr Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Why did the yodeling leg drop become the yodeling elbow drop? About two weeks ago cus someone was out of position (maybe)
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Hardy just removed his belt to symbolize the tag belts and looks ridiculously bush league.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Tatanka's Samoan Drop is called the "Last Trail", I believe. And what RUB would Lashley get from JBL? JBL just got squashed in a MINUTE by a rookie on a Big 4 PPV. If anything, they were salvaging JBL's career, as he's much more important to their uppercard, IMO.

Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 booker says he's gonna forfeit...i smell a swerve
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 No, dont give Benoit a mic.
naiwf Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Did they show the Guerreros yet? I'm pretty sure Eddie's spirit won't be wrestling until later. His family will support him then.
