Jebus Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Is Orton even trying in the ring anymore? He was never an outstanding wrestler but damn has he declined recently.
Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Rey should be in the match cuz i want it. thats why. Orton shouldn't be in the match cuz he's boring as fuck and nobody gives a shit about him.

Guest Princess Leena Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 I'd rather have Rey in a filler match early on than in the title match. That way when he stupidly points to Eddy in the sky about 37 times, I won't have to watch it. And I want Randall to have a year-long title run... in which he slowly gains back the praise of all you fickle fans.
Guest J0bber Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Certainly, one of the more predictable pay per views outside the JBL win, but what an outstanding main event!
Lt. Al Giardello Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Why should Misterio be in the match? He's the dumbass that gave up his title shot. Hate to break it to you wrestling isn't real. How can Mysterio be a dumbass, when the writers made him give up the title shot? Dumbass.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Is Orton even trying in the ring anymore? He was never an outstanding wrestler but damn has he declined recently. He had some really awful business exposing moments tonight. On at least two head scissor spots, he went in a completely different direction than Rey's momentum "should have" taken him. And then there was that steel steps spot. Combined that with Rey fucking up whatever that swinging DDT looking thing was supposed to be, and the match looked VERY fake.
LooseCannon25 Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Awesome main event. Taker had his working boots on tonight. Please, please get Orton out of the WM main event. This guy just doesn't have it. He's a decent midcarder, but can't cut it as a main event. I'd rather see Taker vs. Angle again at WM.
Big McLargeHuge Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Rey should be in the match cuz i want it. thats why. Orton shouldn't be in the match cuz he's boring as fuck and nobody gives a shit about him. But Orton's got "the look". And he can do a dropkick. And he's cocky and arrogant. He's the future. Am I right?

Guest J0bber Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 I would just like to say that Orton is a classless jerk, but now he actually has legitimate heat with the fans, so it may not be a bad idea to put him the in the WM main event as he is the top heel on SD.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 , but now he actually has legitimate heat with the fans, Err...no. He cut that little promo afterwards and no one gave a damn.

I'm not sure how long this heat will last past the Mysterio feud to be honest. And if they do indeed make a four way with him Rey, Taker, and Angle, I can easily see Orton getting lost in the shuffle. Could be wrong, though.

I didn't think "goofy frat boy looking pussy heel with barely any upper-body mass or definition compared to most of his peers" was "the look."
Kahran Ramsus Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Looks like I'm not ordering Wrestlemania this year. HHH & Orton go over, yay! The two people who need to be far from the belts right now.

skullman80 Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Orton has no business anywhere near a WM main event. Hell, he shouldn't even be in the midcard.
Guest J0bber Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Orton has no business anywhere near a WM main event. Hell, he shouldn't even be in the midcard. Neither does Triple H or Cena. I don't see how a guy like Cena could be shoved down people's throats for two straight Wrestlemania main events.

It's gonna take a miracle to pull a decent card at WM.
Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 This bizarro-mania heels get built up to win the titles instead of faces.... i think Vince just hates money at this point.

Carnival Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 ok...lets chill with outragiously stupid comments please.

I don't want to see Bret doing anything to risk his health. If he is there to get inducted into the HOF, have him do that, pay him the tribute he rightfully deserves but leave him out of WM. I wouldn't put it by Vince though to try to talk him into doing some sort of angle. Hopefully Bret is smart enough to not go through with anything Vince thinks up.
Lord of The Curry Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Taker/Angle was by far the best match this company has put on in well over a year. I'd go as far as to say the best they've done since Benoit/Brock in December of '03. **** 1/2. Thumbs up PPV on the strength of Rey/Orton and Taker/Angle.

Edit: I Tivoed it. Just to explain how I've been able to watch it again.
Lord of The Curry Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 In case people were wondering if me and Rudo were marking out like bitches for the triangle chokes- you best fuckin' believe it.
