Props to whoever called Triple H making sure he pinned RVD. SMH.

Well, it's settled: I'm skipping Wrestlemania.

I mean, it isn't even an issue. When was the last time the crowd was that excited for a face as they just were for Van Dam near the end of the match?

Just saw the main event tonight.

Bad, predictable match from what I saw (last 3/4ths). Just really sloppy. RVD looked totally blown up for parts of it, I personally think his conditioning has suffered since his return.

I'm happy with the result though, because I'd be more interested in an RVD/Benjamin combo at WrestleMania than I would with Cena vs. RVD at WrestleMania.

First time in two weeks I watch any WWE programming. Bad time to start watching again.

EDIT: Big Show is such fucking shit in the ring and has been since his return from injury in late 2004. 2003 was a pretty decent year for him (carried by Brock) but his work right now is back down to 2002 levels. He takes away from pretty much every match that he's in. When Mark Henry is eclipsing you in workrate (even though he's not nearly the good wrestler that DVDVR is making him out to be), you know you have problems.

So the triumphant babyface comes out, gets booed, and then the crowd goes silent for the staredown.

HHH, that master heel.

Once again well done WWE on giving the fans what they want and god forbid actually giving them a reason to pay $50 for WM. I actually have a ticket and I am seriously considering selling it on eBay and not bothering to go because of the anticipated card. Just pathetic.

Signs that it was obvious HHH was going to win:

1. RVD gets tossed out of the ring, and the ref goes to check on him, which gives HHH a perfect opportunity to bash Show's head in with a chair.

2.Right after RVD hits an amazing mid-air spin Frog Splash on SHow, HHH grabs the ref, normally an offense which will get you immediately DQ'ed, and then gets into the ring, and Pedigree's RVD for the win.

Honestly, Vince; could it have been anymore fucking obvious?

Feel free to add to the list.

HHH was in a match with a world title match at Mania on the line. That's all I needed to know.

For the most part, a better Raw than usual, though there's still bad points.

The good

-Shelton is IC champ. Even Mama didn't annoy me.

-Kane vs. Masters was suprisingly watchable.

-The Wrestling debut of the Spirit Squad. They don't suck in the ring, they just have a sucky gimmick.

-Carlito. I'm starting to like this guy.

-The 3 way match was good, until the ending.

-The return of Marty Janetty

The Bad

-The ending of the 3 way match. You knew HHH was going to win, but it was still depressing. Now he's going to face Cena at WM, but nobody cares, just like how Orton is going to face Angle at Wrestlemania, but nobody but Leena cares about Orton. But that doesn't matter in McMahon land, because it will always be about what Vince, Steph, and Paul want. Fuck what we want, we'll never get it at this point, and we most likely never will.

-The return of the Kiss My Ass Club. See my rant above about rarely getting what we want.

-Edge vs. Duggan. Especially the Edge vs. Foley match at Wrestlemania. This is looking to be the worst Wrestlemania in ages.

-Candice winning the diva's battle royal. At least it will still most likely be Trish vs. Micky at Wrestlemania.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is this: Would it kill Vince and co. to let the fans come home happy just once?

I think the one thing that's going to be overlooked in all of this is that the babyface of the future is so bad that they needed to keep him off the whole show, until the end when he showed up and got booed.

This would be a good time for fans to throw trash into the ring.

I'm going to sig that.

I'm tempted to order WM just to see the crowd shit all over the entire card.

It'll be like the fans' reactions to Goldberg vs. Lesnar at Wrestlemania XX kicked up 20 notches.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Triple Threat matches automatically no DQ? The refs will still try to stop the heels from cheating, but if they can't restrain them physically, there's no actual consequences they're allowed to inflict.

I can't believe they would job RVD there, when the entire point of having the Big Show in the match tonight was so he could job. At least you would THINK that is the whole point of the Show being in it.

2Gold, I do agree that RVD is going to be in the MITB but he absolutely 100% HAS to win it. This is not an issue. Carlito is more in the Jericho role of the guy who suggests the match but ultimately doesn't win it (who would buy Carlito as a serious title threat right now?). RVD doesn't need the IC title at all, so him vs. Shelton is kinda pointless though it might produce some fun matches.

I'll lay out the MITB and beyond booking:

RVD wins the MITB. He and Shelton can have some IC matches that end in DQs or whatever since Edge will run in and attack RVD. This can tie into his post WM desire to get the title back, feeling the MITB is his best chance if he can steal it away from RVD. Edge of course ends up jobbing in this feud and after that I'd send him over to SD.

At ONS, RVD cashes in the MITB and wins. I can stand HHH getting his tainted win tonight if it would involve returning that favor at ONS, even if he ultimately got the title right back at say SummerSlam.

That's an excellent point.

Cena needs to make another A-Team music video.

At this point, I don't even think that will make the fans care about him.
