Astro101 Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 I was on the TNA Forums and it seems that Alex Shelley has posted this on the boards. Hello TNA fans – how was your weekend? Sucks to be you if you happen to live in the northeast with all that snow. Me? I just got back from sunny California! I hit a few beaches, did some swimming, worked on my tan – and oh yeah, I saw everyone’s favorite man in black, the Stinger. Think I’m lying? I think the attached photo is proof enough, kiddies! You’ll see more on Saturday night. I don’t want to give everything away before my big premiere! Well, I’ve got some good news and some bad news about ol’ Stevie Borden. First the bad news: from the looks of things, Stinger was serious about hanging up the black boots and trench coat. The good news? He’s certainly keeping himself busy picking up his rugrats from school, playing basketball in the backyard and helping his wife hang out laundry. Is this what happens to wrestling icons when they walk away from the ring? How pathetic! Seriously, it really amazed me how oblivious Sting was that I was filming him the entire time. He never even noticed me tailing him from his house to the gym, even when I pulled up right next to him on the highway! I gotta be honest with you – all those years at the top of the wrestling business sure paid for a nice palatial estate. Swimming pool, basketball court, not to mention the big driveway where he parks his Excursion. I guess Stinger’s not too concerned about the price of gasoline these days! And oh, by the way – Mrs. Sting is certainly a looker! Meee-yowww! So once again, mission accomplished! What we got on Jackie is gonna seem like child’s play compared to this. I’ll bring the tape to air this Saturday night on “iMPACT!”…you bring the popcorn. Your friend Alex Shelley ----------- And yes, it is him and not just some gimmick. Bill Banks said he got off the phone with him and confirmed it, so it seems Shelley did this on his own which is pretty cool.

It works with Shelley, because he is already established as a creepy, sleazebag with a camera who already got in the habit of spying on Jackie. Getting the stalking bug to stalk Sting, was logical. DDP, suddenly was a stalker for no reason.

Little less different than DDP running around chasing Sara. Plus the DDP angle would have been fine if Page hadn't gotten his ass kicked over and over and OVER again. Hell, did DDP get the upper hand ONCE in that feud? Shelley's whole gimmick seems to be find his enemies and tape them, perhaps to give him some kind of advantage over them where he may not have it physically. That and he's a sleaze. DDP checking out Sara Taker when he was married to Kimberly (far as we knew at the time), just kinda made no sense.

Astro101 Posted February 22, 2006 Author Report Posted February 22, 2006 The posting on the message board was all Shelley it appears. The actual filming or snapshots or whatever, I'm not sure. I doubt he actually followed and stalked Sting and his family. Though you never know.

Him filming Sting = TNA doing it in a studio setting. The thing he did on his own, was made this post about it to further the story. It was planned to show the footage of Sting, so he just posted in character saying that he went out and got it. He didn't actually go follow Sting around without him knowing, and film his private life. Sting didn't actually retire. Duh.

Bullshit it was fucking cold as hell out here in CA. Going swimming right now was insane. The Bay Area would be cold. Sometimes southern California is warm, but not lately. You'd be right about that.

I think Vince was operating under the pretense nobody'd ever heard of DDP, his wife, or the fact that he was a 3 time world champion in WCW with that one.

Guest Timmer Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 Kinda disspointed with this Shelly stalking out other people angle. I liked the original angle where he was scouting other wrestlers and such. Was hoping they would use than as an angle for Shelley to beat Somoa Joe...
