I don't know. I was raised Southern Baptist and was always taught there is no such thing. BUT, I don't know. I think it's fascinating to think about, and it makes sense to me. Recycling, you know. I believe all of us have vague memories or just plain strange memories that do not have anything to do with our childhood. Maby there just made up or a distant dream that you can't recall , or maybe, just MAYBE your past life IS trying to come out. What do yall think??? Am I a fruitcake???   :) :)

I believe in it. I think it explains some of my funky interests.

I just think it's fascinating to think about. Now I don't believe I existed in another life...I just have these weird thoughts and unexplained emotions that I've had since I was a child. Strange stuff, like running at night while it is raining, or waking up in a torn up barn, like a bombed out or tornado hit barn. A strange BIG building full of, well, like homeless people all sleeping on cots in some foreign country. I can see my socks need pulled up. I am maby 10 years old. Weird stuff. I think maybe whats left of my marbles have rolled away. :D

The funny thing is, we are literally reincarnated in a physical sense, to some degree;the molecules that make up our body came from other living things, and will eventually go on to be part of still others. But reincarnation in the Hindu sense, that our souls live other lives, that seems a little farfetched to me.

Actually, I'd like reincarnation to be true, it'd be awesome, always having a different life, but hardly being aware of it. I don't see how it's any more far-fetched than other expressions of faith.

The exponential increase in bodies capable of sustaining a soul?

Basically you have to assume infinite souls

Actually... While the number of humans is increasing, the number of animal life is decreasing. All the exinct and endangered species have become human perhaps?

Haha, I don't know but it would be interesting, if they could, to figure out an estimate of how many living creatures are on the planet. Then every decade or so take another estimate and see if the number stays around the same.

Or perhaps we even travel through space and occupy bodies on other plants. Perhaps even through time? Dun dun... dun.

I dont disbelieve in it.

But I don't envision myself has formerly being someone else, or becoming someone else after I die. I just don't see it.

These are always good discussions. Any debate(religion, politics) that doesnt have an ipso facto right/wrong, correct/incorrect answer.

I'm an agnostic who would like to belive in reincarnation. My old Presbytrian priest from when I still went to church surprised the Hell out me when he said he belived in it. Then he tried to get my conformation class to make clouds disappear using our minds. Needless to say it didn't work.
